What if your next level of success has nothing to do with strategy, and everything to do with what your energy is silently transmitting? In this article, we uncover five powerful energetic anchors that shape your business outcomes and how to shift them from within.

What are emotional transfers?

Every business strategy carries a silent undercurrent. A hidden energy shaping how it's received, responded to, and reflected. For many coaches, healers, and heart-led entrepreneurs, this current isn't found in copywriting tips or funnel tweaks. It's found in the emotional field beneath it all.

These hidden layers are what I refer to as Emotional Transfers.

They are the unspoken feelings and embodied beliefs we project into our work, our leadership, and our relationships with clients. Often, they are the true reason that launches stall, content falls flat, or burnout creeps in, not because something is wrong with your strategy, but because something is unresolved within your energy.

The 5 core emotional transfers

  1. You: Your relationship with yourself, your voice, your leadership.

  2. Them: Your beliefs about your audience or potential clients.

  3. Company: Your trust in your business structure, rhythms, and containers.

  4. Product: Your clarity and confidence in what you offer.

  5. Money: Your emotional imprint around value, worth, and receiving.

Let’s explore two of the most foundational: You and Money.

You: The first transfer

Even with all the right tools, if your body is silently conveying self-doubt or fear, your message may fall short of alignment.

This emotional transfer is about how we hold ourselves, our visibility, safety, and worth. If part of you still feels unsafe being seen or is bracing for rejection, your energy communicates that, even if your words don’t.

Awareness prompt

Take a moment to reflect on the last time you showed up in your business. What was your body feeling? Were you grounded or performing? What were you hoping to prove or protect?

Shifting this transfer often begins with safety, not strategy.

Money: The transfer that holds the deepest shame

Money carries inherited beliefs, cultural conditioning, and nervous system imprints. Even if your pricing is logically sound, you may still energetically transfer apology, hesitation, or fear when discussing it.

Awareness prompt

When you think about receiving more money, what emotions arise first? Can you locate them in your body? Whose voice do they sound like?

Healing this transfer transforms selling into a sacred invitation and turns money into a mirror for deeper reclamation.

An exercise: Reading your transfer

Try this embodied awareness practice to gently tune into your emotional field:

1. Pause and ground

Sit comfortably with both feet on the floor. Take three slow, deep breaths, inhaling through the nose and exhaling gently through the mouth. Allow your shoulders to soften and your jaw to unclench.

2. Hold attention

Place your hand on your heart or any place that feels tender or charged in the body, and gently close your eyes. Let your breath anchor you into the moment.

3. Focus

Bring to my mind a part of your business you want to explore - a recent post, a client conversation, an offer you’re preparing. Bring it gently to mind without judgment.

4. Awareness & inquiry

What am I emotionally transferring here? Allow the answer to arise naturally. You might notice a feeling (like pressure, doubt, or urgency), a sensation (tightness, fluttering), or even an image or memory.

5. Get curious

Instead of analyzing, witness what comes up. Ask: Where in my body do I feel this? What does it remind me of? Stay present for at least a minute, breathing with what’s there, and allow the ‘feeling/energy’ to integrate into your system.

6. Soften the pattern

Ask yourself: What would safety feel like instead? What quality would I like to transfer instead (e.g., trust, steadiness, generosity)? Imagine breathing that feeling in with your next few breaths.

7. Return gently

Open your eyes slowly. Notice if anything feels different.

This process may only take a few minutes, but it’s often the space between reactivity and regulation, between proving and presence. Repeating this regularly begins to rewire your internal leadership.

A final invitation

If your nervous system is tired of pushing, and your intuition is craving alignment, this may be the deeper work your business is asking of you.

The Emotional Transfers offer a sacred entry point.

You don’t need to fix everything. You need to feel what’s already moving through you.

Start by exploring your transmission with the Resonance Quiz or go deeper through the Embodied Sales Guide, where I walk through these five emotional layers in more depth.

Because sacred business begins in the body. And when your transmission changes, everything changes.
