Nobody needs a coach. You only need a coach to the degree of the game you are playing in business or life. Just like athletes, are you going for the gold in the Olympics? Then obviously a coach is required. But if you’re playing in a rec league, no coach is typically needed.

The better question to ask yourself is: what game are you playing in business and life? What goals matter most to you and by when do you want to achieve them?


A Somatic Mindfulness coach or Energy Master helps you use the body’s wisdom through moving meditations and mind-body exercises that allow you to feel more health, happiness, and peace. You might reveal past trauma in the body that was never processed, or hidden memories and emotions of the past that impact optimizing your performance today.


While you can always do this work alone, it helps to have a professional guide you in releasing, feeling, and ultimately transforming any lower frequency energy into lighter energy. 


When you face your “shadows”, such as areas you don’t like about yourself or blind spots that sabotage your goals, this causes stress in the body. 1. In transition from one chapter of life to the next

One of my clients is a high end attorney who makes great money but burned out by her toxic coworkers, boss, and clients. Her passion to lead personal growth trainings as her own business was on the back burner as she was surviving her job. 


There were many fears she didn’t realize were stuck in the body causing illness. Through various moving meditations, we worked through each energy drain by locating the energy in the body. Then by observing it’s shape, color, texture, and movement, this allowed a separation from the energy versus treating the energy as a threat to deny, fix, or ignore.


Once energy was released in the body, it allowed her to naturally be in action where previously she was stalled. Ultimately, she landed a huge government contract that funded her dream job within her company as a new department. She released more stress through tears and was able to feel her emotions once again creating more health, peace, and happiness in her relationships and most importantly with accepting herself.


2. Crave more energy and time freedom

Another client felt trapped in an old business that she no longer was passionate about but had stable clientele. She was also running her newer passion business that she wanted more time to grow. 


In our work together, she identified what specifically was draining her energy in the old business and developed a step by step action plan to slowly stop taking energy draining actions and replace them with replenishing actions that would grow the new business. She ended up firing old clients, reducing her students keeping only the ones she loved to work with. 


The result? She created a new offering in her new passion business that sold out. The courage to face her fears in firing clients and creating a new never-been-done program gave her a huge confidence boost, refueling a future that was fully aligned with her vision. 


3. Feeling too much pressure and responsibility as a CEO at the top

Many CEO clients are lonely at the top having to put on a good face for their teams and family with no one to truly open up to vulnerably with their own personal struggles. One client had gotten injured and could no longer workout the way he wanted. He felt helpless in how to best support his wife going through IVF, and overall was not at his typical energy levels. 


Through somatic mindfulness practices, he created new healthy habits and energy exercises that allowed him to both love his body as it was, as well as deal with the pressure and responsibilities of the company. During the span of three months, he felt more confident in his skin again, found peace in times of chaos, and even landed a huge business deal unexpectedly.
