Severen Henderson is a first responder, author, speaker, and the founder of Championized LLC. With over 20 years in the fire service spanning departments in Ohio and Illinois, he has built a career defined by performance under pressure, servant leadership, and a commitment to showing up at the highest level on the worst days.

Henderson is the author of Hey New Guy!, a career guide covering everything from the application process to retirement for fire service professionals, and Built to Finish, a practical coaching framework built around the CLEAR method for people ready to stop starting over and start crossing finish lines. He is also the author of his first novel, Bleed: Shadows of Redemption, and of Zoë Is Going to Be a Fire Engine!, a children's book celebrating the next generation of first responders.

His writing has reached beyond the firehouse. His first-person Mayday account, "My Mistakes May Save Your Life," was published in Fire Engineering Magazine in June 2021 and remains a resource for firefighters navigating the gap between training and real-world emergency response.

Through Championized, Henderson coaches creators, professionals, and purpose-driven leaders on building resilience, protecting their mental bandwidth, and turning ideas into finished work. He hosts The Championized Podcast and publishes The Challenge Newsletter, both designed to push people to start and finish the creative work that matters most to them.
