Relationship & Life Coach

Sandra knows how it feels to not know where you belong or who you are. To feel a longing inside but you are not sure for what. When she was 25 years old, she made a decision to do whatever it takes to come to a point where she was comfortable and content with who she is and what she is doing.

“What a journey it has been.”

Her personal journey with Clifton Strengths® started in 2008 when she did the online assessment for personal development. “It really changed the way I saw myself and the world around me.” She received informal training to be a facilitator through an accredited StrengthsFinder Coach at her congregation and did formal training in 2014 through a company in South Africa. Her journey with Enneagram started in 2018, when she did the online assessment to help a friend to receive her accreditation as an Enneagram Practitioner. She fell in love with Enneagram and decided to do the formal training herself. She completed Level 1 Certification (for individuals) and Level 2 Certification (for teams).

“When you sign up for great commitment such as personal development, one realises that there is no end, only surprises and a lot of detours.” Sandra was so inspired by her own journey and in awe how many of her relationships have developed through it, that she is now committing herself to the personal development journey of self-exploration for each of her clients.

The story of 'bläsəm', her practice name, also registered as a private business ‘bläsəm’ is the phonetic spelling of blossom. The idea came one evening as Sandra was playing with ideas about flowers and words in google. Her love for Spring blossoms added to her daughters’ love for flowers, colour and life was the inspiration - ‘bläsəm’ was born. Being Afrikaans (From South Africa), it looked just like ‘asem’, which means breath. To pronounce it say it like the word ‘asem’ (aasim).

Breath is such a good description of life. Her brand is all about embracing perfection in the imperfect. To find meaning within yourself, to blossom where you are, not where you’ve been or want to be.

Sandra has a master’s degree in Tourism Management with majors in Psychology, Business Management and Recreation Studies. She’s done a few short courses on coaching & facilitating, design thinking and spiritual exercises along with het StrengthsFinder and Enneagram training.
