Integrative Counsellor

Samantha Roach is an ACC-registered Integrative Counsellor, author, speaker, and founder of Beauty for Ashes Ministry and Brokenness to Hope CIC. With over 1,000 counselling hours and extensive training in trauma-informed practice, forgiveness therapy, CBT, psychodynamic, person-centred, and solution-focused approaches, Samantha supports individuals and couples navigating trauma, grief, relationship challenges, anxiety, depression, and emotional healing.

Her journey into counselling was born from her own story of overcoming childhood sexual abuse, domestic abuse, addiction, abandonment, and the devastating loss of her daughter in a car accident. Through faith, counselling, and personal healing, Samantha transformed her pain into purpose and now dedicates her life to helping others do the same.

Alongside her private counselling practice, Samantha founded Beauty for Ashes Ministry, a Christian organisation focused on emotional healing, identity, restoration, and spiritual growth. She is also the founder and CEO of Brokenness to Hope CIC, a community interest company that delivers workshops, support programmes, and wellbeing initiatives designed to empower individuals and communities affected by trauma, adversity, and life challenges.

As the author of From Brokenness to Hope, Samantha shares her powerful testimony of resilience, faith, and recovery, inspiring readers to believe that healing is possible regardless of their past. She speaks at conferences, workshops, churches, community events, and leadership programmes on topics including trauma recovery, forgiveness, resilience, faith, identity, emotional wellbeing, and personal growth.

Samantha also volunteers within detention centre ministry, supporting vulnerable women through pastoral care, mentoring, and encouragement. Through her writing for Brainz Magazine, she combines professional insight with personal experience to provide practical tools, encouragement, and hope for those seeking emotional wellness, healthier relationships, and lasting transformation. Her passion is to help people move from surviving to thriving and to discover that their brokenness does not define their future.
