Nelia Camara Pereira is the founder of Carnelian Heart™ and creator of the Soul-First™ philosophy, a framework for personal transformation that helps people reconnect with who they are beneath the roles, expectations, and survival patterns that shape their lives.

Her work was born from lived experience. Following the death of her mother in 2017, Nelia found herself questioning the life she had built and the identity she had spent decades performing. What began as a personal journey through grief, healing, and self-discovery evolved into a deeper exploration of identity, purpose, and what it truly means to live authentically.

Drawing on more than 25 years of leadership experience in the food manufacturing industry, combined with her personal development studies, spiritual exploration, and passion for human potential, Nelia brings a unique perspective that bridges practical wisdom with deeper inner transformation. Her writing explores identity, conscious leadership, personal growth, emotional resilience, and the human experience in a rapidly changing world.

Nelia is the author of Seeker of Light, a memoir of grief and awakening, and Soul-First™, the philosophical prelude to her transformational trilogy. The Unlearning™, the first book in the trilogy, launches July 2026. She is also the founder of the Carnelian Heart community, where she shares insights, tools, and conversations designed to help people navigate change with greater awareness, courage, and authenticity.

As an Executive Contributor for Brainz Magazine, Nelia writes on identity, transformation, conscious leadership, and what it means to remain human in an increasingly AI-driven world. Her mission is simple: to help people remember who they were before the world told them who to be.
