Dr. Karen Farhat

Body & Mind Consultancy

Dr Karen Farhat is an integrative psychotherapist, relationship expert, and intercultural specialist, and the founder of Body & Mind Consultancy, an online and in-person practice serving clients in Cyprus and worldwide. With a PhD in Transpersonal Counselling, she is recognised as a pioneering voice in integrative psychotherapy, having developed her approach long before it became widely established as a field. For over 15 years, she has supported individuals and couples from diverse cultural backgrounds in navigating identity, emotional wellbeing, relationships, and the psychology of belonging across cultures.

Drawing on her own experience of living and working across different countries and cultures, Dr Farhat helps people feel at home within themselves even when their surroundings are changing, bringing psychological insight, the wisdom of the body, and cultural context into real dialogue. As a relationship expert, she specialises in English-speaking therapy for expats and globally mobile professionals, intercultural couples counselling, and coaching programmes that support stress, anxiety, life transitions, and personal growth.

In 2025, she received a Global Recognition Award for mentoring and leadership in mental health and wellbeing, and a Bronze Stevie Award for Female Entrepreneur of the Year, recognising her work as a purpose-driven founder in the wellbeing space. Through her writing, teaching, and clinical work, she explores how people translate identity, culture, and belonging across emotional and cultural worlds, and how inner work can support outer transformation.
