Elizabeth Thornhill
Brain Health/Neuroscience Coach
Elizabeth Thornhill is a trauma-informed mental health coach who specializes in neuroscience and how the brain drives behavior and lasting change. She is a Board Certified Mental Health Coach, a Master Mental Health Coach through the American Association of Christian Counselors, and has earned her ACC credential through the International Coaching Federation (ICF). Her work focuses on helping women understand how past experiences shape brain function and the patterns that follow.
As a survivor of childhood trauma, Elizabeth brings both professional expertise and personal insight into the healing process. She helps women break free from cycles of shame, self-sabotage, and emotional reactivity by teaching them how to rewire their thinking and regulate their responses at the source: the brain.
Her approach integrates neuroscience, practical tools, and faith-based principles to create lasting, measurable change. Clients learn how their brain works, why they respond the way they do, and how to shift those patterns in a way that actually lasts. This work goes beyond coping and leads to real transformation.
Through her coaching, writing, and speaking, Elizabeth challenges the belief that people are stuck. She teaches that the brain can change, the past does not have to define the future, and with the right tools, individuals can take ownership of their thoughts, behaviors, and outcomes.
Her mission is to help women break out of limiting patterns and step into lives marked by intention, stability, and forward movement, fully equipped to pursue the goals and future they are capable of building.
