Dominique began her clinical career in 2013 working as an IOP adolescent drug and alcohol therapist. During her time in this position, her other responsibilities included helping to create a curriculum for an anger management OP group, facilitating and developing a curriculum for a young adult IOP program, facilitating a drug-court OP group for young adults who were first time marijuana possession offenders, and facilitating a multi-family Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) OP group. She also worked as a social worker in an emergency department helping to support patients in need of detox treatmernt and/or mental health in-patient intervention. Her extensive career also included working in community mental health as an IOP therapist facilitating groups for adults as well as facilitating a weekly DBT group for adults as well as conducting psychotherapy sessions. She also worked as an Employee Assistance Program (EAP) Advisor helping to support members in need of Social Determinants of Health (SDoH) resources, facilitating leadership and mental health trainings, developing comprehensive mental health presentations on topics such as suicide prevention, domestic violence, and fostering DEI in the workplace, and conducting onsite visits. She is currently working as a therapist in a large private practice setting and as a counseling private practice owner helping adult clients understand their attachment styles, improve their relationships, master skills to help manage stress, CPTSD, and anxiety, and exploring the effects their traumas have had on their lives.
