Podcast Host & Public Intellectual

Daisy Onubogu is a podcast host, public intellectual, and social scientist known for her incisive exploration of neurodiversity, identity, womanhood, and the cultural systems that shape how people live and make meaning. She is the creator and host of Strange Life, a critically acclaimed podcast and analysis platform that blends research, storytelling, and lived experience to illuminate the hidden structures behind everyday human behaviour.

Her career spans leadership roles across technology, community design, and creative strategy — including serving as Head of Community at Backed VC and Director of Operations at Roam International — where she helped build globally recognised ecosystems for founders, knowledge workers, and emerging leaders. Daisy is an award-winning operator and builder, named to the Sunday Business Post’s 30 Under 30 and honoured with the UCD President’s Award for Achievement. Her thought leadership has been featured on major stages including Slush, Pioneers, and Latitude59, and in publications such as Sifted, TechRound, and Silicon Republic.

As a facilitator, writer, and speaker, she is known for translating complex social science concepts into accessible frameworks that help people understand themselves and the world more deeply. Through Strange Life — a platform comprising video essays, recorded conversations and live events — Daisy is building a space for rigorous, holistic exploration of the forces shaping human beings.
