Carmela Lacey

Yoga Teacher, Movement Educator, Wellness Advocate

Carmela is a recognised yoga educator, movement specialist, and founder of Yoga Rhyth’OM. With over 25 years of teaching experience and a personal practice spanning three decades, she blends ancient yogic wisdom with modern movement science to support individuals through all stages of life. Her extensive studies in functional movement, Pilates, somatic practices, and yoga philosophy inform her deeply embodied and accessible teaching style.

Carmela leads transformative yoga teacher trainings, international retreats, and wellness workshops that honour the cycles of nature, the intelligence of the body, and the healing power of presence. She specialises in women’s wellness, perimenopause and menopause education, Ashtanga Yoga, Resorative and Yin Yoga, Yoga Nidra, Pre/post natal, meditation and breathwork. Her offerings create spaces for reconnection—to self, to community, and to the rhythms of life.

A mother, mentor, and lifelong student, Carmela is passionate about empowering others to live with vitality, self-awareness, and authenticity. Through her work, she invites people to return home to themselves—one breath, one movement, one moment at a time.
