Ayla Nova

Trauma-Informed Yoga Nidra Educator

Ayla Nova is a trauma-informed Yoga Nidra guide, educator, and founder of Nova Nidra, a growing ecosystem devoted to the power of conscious rest. Her signature Peace in Rest program teaches individuals how to navigate stress, anxiety, insomnia, and chronic health challenges through the lens of Yoga Nidra. In 2018, Ayla overcame a rare form of leukemia and experienced a profound awakening to the healing intelligence of rest, one that continues to guide her work today.

Ayla’s approach integrates yogic philosophy, nervous system science, and archetypal storytelling to support individuals in reconnecting with their inner resources. Her programs are designed to empower both everyday seekers and future Yoga Nidra teachers, combining Eastern wisdom with practical, accessible tools for daily life.

She is the host of Yoga Nidra & Beyond, a podcast and YouTube channel, and leads global students through mentorship, live calls, and retreats. Through her heart-led teaching style and emphasis on agency and self-compassion, Ayla continues to inspire a growing community of individuals seeking depth, healing, and wholeness—one breath at a time.
