April Wazny is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor with over a decade of experience supporting individuals, children, and families through trauma, grief, and life transitions. She specializes in trauma-informed care and intergenerational healing, drawing from modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma-Focused CBT, Attachment-Based Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy and Mindfulness-Based approaches.
 
April is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Social Psychology at Liberty University, with a research focus on the psychological and relational impacts of intergenerational trauma. She is the founder of Winora’s Hope Counseling—established in honor of her mother—where she provides personalized, evidence-based care rooted in empathy, safety, and empowerment.
