Amy Read, NP, is a nationally board-certified Nurse Practitioner and the founder of Sunshine Functional Healing, where she is dedicated to helping clients achieve vibrant health through a blend of integrative and functional medicine. With over a decade of clinical experience, Amy has become known for her ability to connect the dots between symptoms, lifestyle, and root causes–empowering clients to reclaim their energy, balance, and joy.

Amy’s journey into functional medicine began after her own health struggles and a desire to offer more than just “band-aid” solutions. She has advanced training in hormone health, nutritional psychiatry, and mind-body medicine, and is passionate about translating complex science into practical, personalized care plans.
