Amy Booth
Transformation Coach
Having been sent to boarding school at the age of 6, with a severely unwell father and mother who was working to support the family, Amy is well-versed in childhood trauma. Having then chosen to return home for secondary education, she watched her father's health decline firsthand. She looked after him until he died. Amy then moved to New Zealand, where she met her now ex-husband. It took until Amy had her daughter to recognise the toxicity of most of the relationships in her life. It took a great deal of time and support to reach this realization. Once seen, it was not something Amy was prepared to go back to. Having found counseling to be of little use with the issues she was facing throughout her life, Amy turned to alternative methods. Dialectical Behavioural Therapy continues to be a cornerstone for Amy, along with self-reflection and goal setting. Having lived personal experience of some of the most challenging things a woman can face in life, Amy is ready to dive in and help her clients to leave behind the relationships and issues of the past, to identify and eventually live the life that they want to live.
