Adam Conn
Sirens to Strategy
Adam Conn is a former Metropolitan Police Officer and social entrepreneur whose work centres on clarity, credibility, and practical decision-making in high-pressure environments.
With more than two decades of experience across policing, security, and emergency response, Adam has developed a deep understanding of the operational, physical, and psychological demands placed on Police, Prison, and Ambulance professionals. That experience continues to shape how he approaches leadership, communication, and frontline innovation.
Following his policing career, Adam founded The Squad Group, a purpose-led organisation focused on officer safety, training, and wellbeing. He has created practical ways to support emergency service personnel, prioritising mental wellbeing while raising funds for charities including PTSD999 and The PC Nicola Hughes Memorial Fund.
Adam is also working to introduce The Glove, a Conductive Distraction and De-escalation Device (CD3), into UK Police and Prison services, helping organisations explore safer, more effective options for managing close-contact incidents.
Alongside his operational work, Adam supports leaders and organisations in communicating their experience clearly and credibly, ensuring their role, value, and intent are understood without noise or overstatement.
He is a Fellow of the Future of Policing Institute and an advocate for practical training, early intervention, and approaches that prioritise clarity over complexity.
