She is also the Co-Founder of Shamans Directory, an online global platform dedicated to bringing shamanic earth-based services to the world's doorstep.
Known for their internationally acclaimed documentary The Wisdom of Trauma, featuring Dr. Gabor Maté, filmmakers Zaya and Maurizio Benazzo began by exploring intergenerational trauma. If your path has led you to healing, contemplation, activism, or ancestral work, we invite you to join us. This is more than a film screening. It is a global circle of listening.
“We thought we were making a film about intergenerational trauma. But what revealed itself was something greater. Yes, the trauma is real, but so is the resilience. So is the wisdom. So is the song of existence that’s never stopped singing to us.” – Zaya and Maurizio Benazzo, the filmmakers and Founders of Science and Nonduality (SAND)
A sacred offering to continue the song
What if the stories that can heal us are the ones we have forgotten how to hear?
We are living in a time of rapid unraveling. Systems are collapsing, divides are deepening, and these are complex and heartbreaking times that call for deep listening. And yet, a powerful wave is rising. People are remembering, gathering, and taking brave stands for what they truly honor, and protecting what they hold closest in their hearts.
The Eternal Song is a stunning, multi-award-winning documentary film that is not just a viewing experience, but an invitation to remember who we are in relation to Earth, to our ancestors, and to each other. Filmed across Indigenous lands from the Arctic to the Amazon, The Eternal Song shares stories from 11 Indigenous communities, stories of wisdom, loss, and resilience. These are not just interviews. They are transmissions, threads woven into something older than memory, something that lives in the soil, in our bones, in the quiet spaces between words.
Many in this community have walked paths of contemplation, trauma healing, spiritual inquiry, and ancestral remembrance. The Eternal Song gathers these threads into one sacred offering.
We invite you to join us for a special, complimentary online film screening as part of the Gathering At The Cosmic Fire Summit, 17 to 21 November 2025.

More than a film
The Eternal Song is a cinematic journey through timeless lands and their Indigenous cultures. Voices from around the world and across generations call us to witness the deep, ongoing scars of colonization on lands and peoples, and the healing that comes through ancestral wisdom.
This documentary film is a sacred offering, a weaving of stories entrusted by 11 Indigenous communities from across the globe. They are ancestral threads carried through land, ceremony, and song. They call us to remember what we once knew, deep in our bones.
The film reveals how modernity has severed our connection to nature, to each other, and to the ancestral realm, while feeding us empty promises of salvation, unlimited consumption, and individual happiness.
You are warmly invited to join us around the Cosmic Fire and receive this beautiful complimentary viewing along with the 30+ inspiring interviews and speakers.

About Shamans Directory
Shamans Directory is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) online global directory created for earth-based practitioners, original people, and first nation healers, conceived to inspire new ways for the world to experience shamanic wisdom on a beautifully designed, professional, and easy to use platform. We welcome all tribes, nations, healers, teachers, trainings, and platforms who are aligned with living earth-based lineages to join our global community, and those seeking healing or who are simply curious to learn more, to step into the dream.
We are more than a directory. We are a movement with a mission to bring shamanic earth-based wisdom and medicine to the forefront of people’s minds when considering their overall health and wellbeing, and the future of our planet. Many healing modalities have international directories. We believe that it is time for shamanic earth-based medicine to be honored in the same way, so that people everywhere can have access to the healing that humanity needs.
Our vision is to bring the world’s living lineages together around one fire, so that the web of sacred medicine that encircles our earth can be made whole again. Together we are powerful medicine.
