Everything in life has a cycle, from the seasons to the nature of a full day on planet earth, we witness a beginning and an end; a healthy relationship with death and the multiple ways we experience endings within our lifetime can bring us to harmony and satisfaction within our own being.

The path of least resistance

We see death all around us, but the idea that it is a process that constantly happens within us, can be a foreign concept for many until we sit and be with. We are all witness “to” the natural cycle of day and night, the days come and go, hopefully with full pleasure and readiness for the next, so how do you feel about the cycles you experience? The cycle of a decade that has passed for example, can you easily reflect upon the changes of your life without concern that time is “chasing you?”

When your body is renewed each month in alignment with the moon, do you welcome it with grace, or wish to push back the clock? You’re thoughts around death will determine the way you live your life now. The rich happiness of life comes from acceptance of what is natural and one of those aspects is that everything comes and goes, our power aligns when deciding how we would like experience of this.

Embracing death means living now

When we come to peace with what will be, we allow ourselves to rest in the now. Knowing that summer is coming to an end without resistance means we can invite her in fully, rather than feel victim to the frost that will come. So how can we use our acceptance to embrace change, the end of cycles and that which will die to find optimum strength in our lives? We acknowledge that which is eternal, our spirit.

You are the cycle of life

Take a cycle, perhaps it is the month in hand and ask yourself vital questions as you choose to close the chapter full of curiosity, eagerness to learn and optimism that more is coming to you. Questions that serve you in a meditative space such as;

  • Ask where have I been this month? ( physically/ mentally/spiritually)

  • Ask what did these experiences teach me?

  • Ask am I complete with these lessons or is there more for me to know?

  • Ask am I wiling to let go of that particular experience for that which is coming?

Simply notice any resistance that comes up in the choice to let go, you can honour it, listen and welcome without needing to change your feelings in this moment. Over time you begin to embrace the endings with new vigour because you trust in the process of life, we assume all that we have learned and everywhere that we are going is for our highest good.

Buck moon meditation coming up

21/7 7pm UK time - we will be joining together online for a sweet ceremony of meditation, self enquiry and sharing to reveal what this cycle has gifted us with. No experience necessary, we look forward to inviting the new version of you into the world.
