You may wonder what everyone keeps raving about? Bitcoin (BTC) over $50,000, Etheruem (ETH) over $4,000, Binance (BNB) over $500, and thousands of more coins and tokens that hold interesting price values.

You may have even heard of some newly popularized coins and tokens like Dogecoin (DOGE) or Shiba Inu (SHIB) that have allowed a lot of investors to see great returns. Some may say that cryptocurrencies are affordable, some may say that they are overpriced. Some may say that cryptocurrencies are high-risk investments, while some “grab the bull by the horns” and look to use cryptocurrencies as a solid investment strategy. Regardless of what anyone's interpretation of crypto’s are, there is one thing that is certain. For the next 10 to 20 years we will watch as many things in our life change right before our eyes, because of the advancements of technology. With those changes, we will also begin to operate in new systems of technology that will operate almost completely virtually. In a completely virtual based world, there is going to be a need for digital currency.

Cryptocurrencies give us a first-hand look at how digital currencies are destined for our future. Cryptocurrencies are digital assets that operate on the blockchain, which is a decentralized public ledger that allows secure and instantaneous transactions. In the cryptocurrency market, you can find yourself investing in either coins or tokens that you can take and use as a part of the decentralized finance system. As an educator who is tasked with being able to help people not only gain knowledge but be able to effectively navigate the blockchain and cryptocurrencies, I always seemed to get asked “what will I be guaranteed to make with an investment?” I try to keep it as simple as possible, so I remind everyone that this space is not like a salary job. You don’t just show up and be given a set amount based on an agreement of how much your time or investment is worth.

An investment in space is also not a get rich quick scheme. The simple answer is that an investment in this space will guarantee you the ability to be a part of a shift in technology that could change the course of your and your families lives for generations. Ultimately your investment in the space will grow and mature based on what you learn, how you invest, how much you invest, and how you manage the navigation of achieving your goals that you set for your assets. I have experience with many clients and students who have had a variety of results. The difference between those who have been and continue to be successful, and those who find their investment in the space to be unnoteworthy, is how educated and disciplined the investor is. All in all, just like most things we find as challenging or new in our lives, everyone has the control to dictate the direction of their desired outcome in the space. Investors just have to take the necessary steps to be the captain of their ship (investments) and not a passenger.
