At the heart of every flower, there is power, an engine of ultimate sensitivity, love, and potentiality. It is only when a flower fully blooms that we, as observers, can perceive its individual essence and natural beauty, echoing the timeless and intrinsic gifts of our personal nature. When we choose to step inside and engage with the deepness of a flower, we recognise that by opening ourselves we bring light, joy and harmony into the world; we feel that by saying yes to all that we are, naturally brings prosperity, harmony and true meaning to our lives, along with the lives of others.

A pink blooming flower.

Why do I block wellbeing?

Many of us walk the street in a closed way, created as a result of trauma such as unrequited love or perhaps unconscious parenting, yet inside of us all is a heartfull flower, just waiting to be tapped into, so that you can live a life unraveling your full potential.

How can I build strength from within?

Like every journey we begin where we are, I’d like to offer you an opportunity to hold an exercise with yourself and go within, embracing where you are, knowing this is your starting point, and all can be rearranged with love, nourishment and commitment to self.

  • Firstly, go to a quiet space and ask your imagination to show you, your heart as a flower, allow yourself to see the flower in its true state at this moment, relieve the mind of any judgement.

  • You can sit quietly with your eyes closed and begin to write some of the energies you feel, see and smell or draw the flower as it is revealed to you. Go a little deeper by setting the timer for five minutes acknowledging what the heart is telling you through these feminine energies.

  • Once you have received this guidance and feel complete take notice of the following;

    • How is this flower blossoming?

    • Does it have a smell?

    • What stage of its life is the flower in?

    • Do you notice what may be coming to an end for you or what parts of your life you are ready to develop?

    • Are you aware of what is in the centre or is the flower closed?

    • Can you feel why the heart is this way?

  • Keep adding with words, colours and symbols until you fill the page remembering that nothing is ever wrong, this is deep intuitive information that will bring you back home in a harmonic way.

Taking the steps to live your truth

Now you have an understanding of what your heart feels in this moment, you are at a turning point! Recognition allows us to move forward with choice. Acknowledging what is serving us or not, weighing us down or propelling us forwards, we now have an active choice to build strength from within us, unleashing our power centre into full illumination of our beautiful essence.

Could you feel the difference in the heavier elements to those which made you fly?

Could you recognise those parts of your life that are keeping you stuck or small, in pain or suffering?

Now take the time to make a list of the parts of your life which you would like to let go of as they are no longer of service to you and those which you would like to blossom into fruition; then take that inspired action that comes through you. You can follow through in any way thats true, perhaps you share that letting go list with the universe and burn it with love, perhaps you make a visual board with all the inspired actions you received to support you actively creating change in your life. Remember, there is no right way just go with what you get! You can come back to this meditation as often as you like, noticing the inner changes as you become more conscious of what’s inside you. Here I’d like to share an insightful poem;

“Be crumbled. So wild flowers will come up where you are. You have been stony for too many years. Try something different. Surrender.”

— Rumi from Good Reads
