Helena Demuynck, Transformation Catalyst for Purposeful Women

Please tell us more about you.

I am Helena Demuynck, a passionate advocate for supporting smart and purposeful women leaders to transform their careers and lives. Living on the top of a mountain in beautiful Andalucia, I find a deep connection with nature, which inspires my work and fuels my commitment to fostering authentic leadership. We have so much potential that we do not activate. We usually do what society expects, not what we really want. After years of following these expectations, I decided to pursue my own path to fulfillment.

Tell us about a pivotal moment in your life that brought you to where you are today.

A pivotal moment in my life occurred when I realized the profound impact that supportive communities can have on women's leadership journeys. After learning the challenges of navigating corporate environments as a woman, I became determined to create platforms that empower women to embrace their strengths and lead authentically. This realization ignited my passion for coaching and community-building, leading to the founding of oxygen4leadership.

What inspires you?

I admire the resilience and potential of women leaders. Their unique leadership traits are invaluable in today's world. Observing the transformations and positive impacts that these women have on their organizations and communities strengthens my commitment to this work. When women support each other, change happens. I am committed to fostering these connections.

What is the driving force for all the work you do?

My mission is to empower women leaders to embrace their unique strengths and lead with authenticity. I strive to create transformative experiences that foster collaboration, innovation, and personal growth. My core motivation is the conviction that diverse leadership enhances decision-making processes and fosters more inclusive workplaces, thereby contributing positively to society as a whole.

What are some challenges you’ve faced in your journey, and how have you overcome them?

Throughout my journey, I have faced challenges such as self-doubt and the pressure to conform to professional expectations. I overcame these obstacles by seeking coaching and mentorship, engaging in continuous learning, and surrounding myself with supportive communities that encourage authenticity and growth.

How do you define success?

I define success as living a life by design, where individuals align their purpose and personal values with their professional goals. It means achieving fulfillment and happiness on your terms, rather than adhering to societal expectations.

What is your vision for the future of women in leadership?

My vision is a future where society and organizations celebrate women leaders for their unique contributions and where diverse perspectives are integral to decision-making processes. I envision a world where women feel empowered to pursue their passions and lead authentically, creating a ripple effect of positive change in their organizations and communities.

What is your business and how do you help your clients?

My business, oxygen4leadership, is dedicated to empowering women leaders through tailored coaching programs, VIP retreats, MasterMinds, and engaging Talk Shows. I provide the tools and resources necessary for women to shift their identity and become the unapologetic woman they are meant to be. I co-create programs with other female entrepreneurs, write articles and set up workshops that invite women leaders and future leaders to learn and grow.

What inspired you to create oxygen4leadership?

The inspiration for oxygen4leadership came from my experiences and the understanding that we all possess immense untapped potential. I witnessed how societal pressures often lead women to live lives that do not align with their true selves. I wanted to create platforms that encourage women to design their lives and achieve success on their terms. This vision is articulated in my book, It's Your Turn, which serves as a comprehensive guide for women to embrace their individual journeys.

How is oxygen4leadership unique?

What sets oxygen4leadership apart is our woman-centered and holistic coaching approach. I do not focus too much on skills or strategies, but on who you are meant to become. I design unique programs to help you tap into your authentic selves, fostering a deeper understanding of your purpose and potential. By combining woman-centered coaching methodologies, bodywork and the impact of nature, with innovative tools like Conversational Intelligence® and Lego Serious Play®, I create engaging and impactful learning experiences that resonate and are sustainable.
