Tell us about you and your life, hobbies, passions, family, pets, anything that makes you you.

My journey has taken me all over the world, from London’s health food scene to slum clinics in Calcutta, India, where we offered homeopathic treatment to people who queued before dawn. I have been working in this field for over 30 years. I’m a lifelong learner, and holistic health is my passion as well as my profession.

These days, I’m lucky to live near the beach, where I enjoy regular walks with my dog Lela and a local walking group. I love growing organic food, baking sourdough bread, and hosting potluck dinners with family and friends, where everyone brings a plate of food to share. I also adore art, different cultures, yoga, and music festivals.

What inspired your journey into holistic health and autism/ADHD support?

I’ve always believed in the healing power of nature, whether that’s food, herbs, or meditation. I managed a health food store in London early on, which deepened my knowledge and interest in natural wellness. But the real turning point came on top of a mountain in Greece, where I met my first naturopath. I knew then that’s what I wanted to do.

I trained as a naturopath first, but after witnessing some extraordinary results with homeopathy, I also trained in homeopathy. I love what I do, and I haven’t stopped studying or exploring natural medicine since.

How does your approach to autism and ADHD/ADD differ from traditional therapies?

I start by getting to know the whole person. I take a deep dive into their past health timeline to uncover possible root causes, such as trauma, toxicity, gut health, medication history, diet, or nutrient deficiencies.

My initial consult runs for 60 to 90 minutes because healing starts with listening. From there, I create a personalized treatment plan using natural medicine, homeopathy, supplements, lifestyle suggestions, dietary adjustments, and sometimes functional medicine testing if needed, such as for heavy metals, neurotransmitter levels, or food sensitivities.

Can you share a success story that highlights the impact of your methods?

One of the first children I treated for ADHD changed the course of my career. His mom was at her wits’ end. The school had told her she needed to either medicate or remove him because he was simply too disruptive. The idea of homeschooling him was so overwhelming that, in her words, she felt like jumping out the window.

She was adamant about not wanting to put him on Ritalin. The family had already spent over $50,000 on therapies that only helped a little. So, she came to me as a last resort, hoping natural medicine might work.

Jack craved peanut butter, which made me wonder about food sensitivities. Peanuts were confirmed as one of the key triggers in the food sensitivity report, along with a few other everyday foods. Within the first week of the dietary changes and personalized nutritional supplements, his teacher pulled his mom aside to ask what had changed because Jack had been focused, calm, and cooperative all week. Within three months of targeted nutritional and homeopathic support, he had his first positive school report ever.

When the family moved from Thailand to the U.S. a year later, his new teacher couldn’t believe he’d ever been diagnosed with ADHD.

That case lit a fire in me. Helping children, adults, and families find greater well-being and health in a natural way is what makes this work so meaningful.

Here’s what his mom had to say:

“It’s like we have a different child. Jack is thriving and doing really well at school. His teacher is happy, we’re happy, and for the first time ever, we got a glowing school report. It’s been life-changing.”

If you could change one thing about your industry, what would it be and why?

The future of medicine is a fully integrative approach to healthcare. I’ve worked in large integrative health centers where doctors and practitioners work together, and patients get the best of both worlds. There’s so much power in prevention, nutrition, and natural medicine, and people deserve a choice.

I’d love to see homeopaths and naturopaths working alongside doctors, psychologists, and other practitioners as part of an integrated healthcare system. Right now, our medical model is still heavily focused on an illness model and symptom suppression.

What are the key benefits of integrating holistic practices?

Natural medicine is for people who want to be treated as an individual, not as a disorder or a disease. Holistic care looks at the whole individual, not just the diagnosis. We’re not here to suppress behaviors but to ask: Why is the nervous system overwhelmed? Why is the gut inflamed? What nutrients are missing?

When you address those underlying stressors, whether it’s nutritional deficiencies, poor detox pathways, sleep problems, parasites, or toxins, you often see remarkable improvements in mood, focus, and behavior.

Holistic care is personalized, empowering, and gentle. It supports the body’s own healing ability. That’s powerful, and often life-changing.

How do you stay updated with the latest research and trends?

I regularly attend international webinars, conferences, and advanced training in homeopathy, detox therapy, and natural medicine. I also collaborate with a global network of holistic practitioners, so we’re constantly sharing case studies and ideas. You’ll usually find a stack of books and research papers on my bedside table and desk.

The science around gut-brain health, inflammation, brain plasticity, and environmental toxicity is growing fast, and it’s exciting to see the increasing validation for what we’ve known in holistic health for decades.

What advice would you give to parents or individuals just starting this journey?

Find a professional guide who can assess your situation using a holistic healing lens. They will provide tailored support to you or your child’s unique needs and create a pathway to healing. Follow the guidance and trust your instincts.

Start small. Even one shift, like reducing sugar and removing additives, can make a big difference. This path isn’t about perfection; it’s about hope, connection, and progress.

What’s been your greatest career achievement?

That moment when a parent says, “I feel like I have my child back…” or when they tell me their non-verbal child is starting to speak, or when they hug them for the first time, or when the teacher says they are no longer hitting classmates at school and are now focused in class. It’s those little wins that can make all the difference to the child and the family’s life, and make this work so meaningful.

I’m also enjoying treating an increasing number of women with delayed neurological diagnoses (autism and ADHD), and supporting them through a healing journey to better health and well-being.

It’s very rewarding to see them finally feel understood and witness their transformation as they gain greater focus, emotional balance, better sleep, and a renewed sense of self.
