Every year, I dedicate time to redefine who I need to become in order to accomplish my goals. For 2025, this process has been no different. Achieving success isn't just about setting goals; it’s about transforming into the version of yourself capable of making them a reality. This requires a shift in the way you think, believe, and behave. The person I was last year isn’t the one who will bring in $2 million in revenue this year, and that’s okay because I’m ready to leave behind what no longer serves me.

Why your old identity can’t take you where you want to go

Let’s face it: an identity of procrastination, exhaustion, and scattered thinking isn’t going to cut it if I want to hit my ambitious goals. That version of me will only hold me back. This year, I’m shedding those traits and stepping into an identity that will serve me and force me to succeed.

This is no easy task. It’s taken me weeks of introspection to define who I need to become. But I’ve decided that for 2025, I will embody “The Sexy Wealth Alchemist.”

Who is the sexy wealth alchemist?

To me, being the Sexy Wealth Alchemist means:

  • Confidence: I radiate self-assuredness, knowing that wealth flows to me.

  • Success: I create wealth effortlessly, not just in my bank account but in every area of my life and for those I love.

  • Action-oriented: I don’t procrastinate. I don’t try; I do.

  • Educated and resourceful: I continuously learn by taking classes, hiring coaches, and seeking opportunities for growth.

  • Worthy and wealthy: I know my worth, and I attract abundance because I believe I deserve it.

When I embody this identity, I plan meticulously, follow through with daily actions, and ask for help when needed. This December, when I hit my $2 million revenue goal, I will celebrate this achievement to solidify my new identity. Success is not just a goal; it’s a way of being.

Applying this process to every area of life

This transformative process doesn’t stop with financial goals. For example, as a 40-year-old single mom running multiple businesses, I’ve realized my approach to romantic relationships also needs a shift. In the past, relying on dating apps like Bumble and Match hasn’t worked. To manifest the relationship I desire, I need to step into a new identity: “The Authentic Aligned Lover.”

Who is the Authentic Aligned Lover?

  • Aligned and intentional: I know what I want in a partner and only allow energy that matches my ideal into my life.

  • Authentic: I remain true to myself and unapologetically set boundaries.

  • Hopeful and open: I’m open to making connections in new ways beyond outdated methods that didn’t work in the past.

By becoming this version of myself, I create space for the partner I desire. I’ll set a plan of action, stick to it, and stay true to my beliefs and values, trusting that the right relationship will align with my life.

Creating the future you desire

Here’s the truth: the life you want won’t simply come to you. Life isn’t magically perfect unless you step into the role of creating that magic. Ask yourself:

  • What do I truly desire in life?

  • Has what I’ve been doing worked so far?

  • What needs to change?

If your current approach isn’t working, it’s time to reimagine who you need to be. For me, I had to acknowledge that my old ways weren’t enough. It’s not easy, it requires deep self-reflection, planning, and an unrelenting commitment to growth.

How to stay on track when challenges arise

Even with the best intentions, life happens. We’re human, and our old habits may resurface, especially when we’re overwhelmed or not taking care of ourselves. That’s why it’s crucial to have:

  • An anchor: A word or phrase to bring you back to the center. Mine this year is “prioritizing.” I’m prioritizing myself.

  • Support: A therapist, coach, or accountability partner to guide you.

  • Resources: Books, podcasts, or tools that remind you of the next step.

When you stumble, you will. Don’t give up. Pause, reflect, and recommit to your plan.

Celebrate the new you

When you reach your goals, take time to celebrate and honor the person you’ve become. Whether it’s a party, a personal retreat, or simply reflecting on your journey, these moments of acknowledgment are powerful. They reinforce your new identity and prepare you for the next chapter.

For me, when I hit my $2 million revenue goal, I’ll celebrate as the Sexy Wealth Alchemist, not just to mark the milestone but to solidify that this identity is who I am now. The same goes for finding a partner aligned with my values; I’ll celebrate the love I’ve created by becoming the Authentic Aligned Lover.

The challenge is yours

What about you? How will you transform in 2025? What goals do you desire, and who do you need to become to achieve them? If what you’ve been doing hasn’t been working, it’s time to redefine yourself. The process won’t be easy, but it will be worth it.

Let’s work together to create the future we desire. Prioritize yourself, take the steps, and become the version of you who accomplishes every dream you’ve ever had. This year, let’s make magic happen because the life you want is waiting for you to claim it.
