Gorgeous, she said, “Strong women don't have attitudes, we have standards”. She helped Ella Fitzgerald propel her career as a singer because she believed in her. She was scrutinized more by men than we were, but she kept her head high and had an EQ/IQ superior to Albert Einstein. Marilyn Monroe knew her power and used it to help more women like Ella Fitzgerald. Why? Because she was living in a world designed for men. She was in the arena.

The cycle of disconnection

The truth is, we're still living in a world designed for men.

To fit in, we choose identities to feel safe, valued and accepted

  • The firefighter

  • The overachiever

  • The one being there for everyone

The result? We don't know how to let go of these identities without crumbling and losing ourselves.

So what do we do?

We keep

  • going

  • fighting

  • feel disconnected

Like a small version of ourselves, like an empty shell because we don't see another way.

The path to empowerment

What is the solution?

  1. A wake-up call with a dash, a good dose of honesty that you can no longer go on like this.

  2. A breakthrough that you deserve more and are worthy of your wants and desires. It's never too late to be seen and recognised, Demi Moore's winning a Golden Globe after 45 years of career is proof of this.

  3. A choice: choose authenticity over conformity and decide that being fulfilled is your right, your claim, your prerogative.

What does it mean? Choose to cultivate A Rockstar Mindset to be immune to people's judgements.

Demi Moore felt unworthy because a man told her that she was a popcorn actress. Thankfully, as she said, the Universe intervened to break this limiting belief and (I believe) qualify her for the Golden Globes.

I'm happy for her, but I believe you deserve to be recognised now, not in 45 years.

If you want to stop doubting yourself and become visible and recognised, I invite you to book a call with me here.
