When you have momentum in business, everything seems to move forward, tasks get done, big breakthroughs happen, customers are happy and extraordinary results are produced. Momentum creates motivation. Motivation creates opportunity and opportunity creates results. That is how it works and that is why every entrepreneur needs to learn to create momentum in their business, and network marketing is no exception. But it is important to know the killer of momentum. That would be what I call the “stop & go.”

The “stop & go” method to building a network marketing business typically happens when the business is not truly a top priority. Life will always hand us a lot of distractions, commitments, hiccups, obligations, and hardships. If we stop building our business and we take our foot completely off the gas pedal every time this happens, we definitely won’t create any momentum.

I know firsthand how life can get crazy and how challenging it can be to juggle too many tasks at once. However, I always want to have a pulse on my business. I would never want to turn the lights off to my organization I created. If you owned a bakery, gym, or boutique what would happen if you closed for a week? How about a month? I think you know the answer. So, the key is to consider your network marketing business in that same regard. While we have the complete luxury of time freedom when if comes to working when we want, make sure you don’t fall into the trap of getting so busy that you don’t do one thing to run or build your business.

The other part to this is when you go all in—go, go, go… Then you find yourself burned out and need a break. This is a momentum killer guys! You have to learn your pace and how to manage your time. Run the day or the day will run you! In my industry of network marketing, I see this “stop & go” behavior constantly. Listen, if you are tired learn to REST not to STOP! How much momentum would a plane create if it sped up then slowed down, then sped up then stopped then glided on the runway… ZERO!

Don’t be afraid to say YES to this opportunity and to make it a priority so you can get to work and create the momentum it takes to build a successful business and lucrative income. You deserve it. Dig deep to find your purpose and create your vision, this will motivate you to rev up and find momentum!
