This piece is for those of us who sense there’s more to life than what meets the eye. Think of it as a friendly signal, a quiet voice reaching out to those who, like me, have felt a similar pull beyond the physical.

The energetics of instant change

Throughout my life, I’ve experienced countless moments that defied logic or explanation. Things happened that simply didn’t make sense, yet they felt completely natural, as if life itself was quietly whispering, “Trust me and follow me,” filling me with equal parts wonder and trepidation.

My purpose in writing this is to connect with others. If you’ve ever felt that strange familiarity within the unknown, know this, you’re not alone. For us seekers, this is natural.

The magic wand

As a child, I knew I had a magic wand. It wasn’t a physical object. I didn’t need one. The magic simply was. There were moments of light, excitement, and laughter with two of my kindergarten friends when the magic wand was around. One boy thought I was completely crazy.

My grandmother’s sister was the only adult I shared the secret with. To our astonishment, whenever she asked about the wand, the magic revealed itself instantly. She often had pain in her hands and joints, yet whenever the “wand” was present, the pain disappeared. She was aware of it, delighted by it, and open to it. Those times together, we played outside the limits of what we and others would call “normal.” Looking back, I see that this was my first experience with energy and the instant change it can bring about when a free source reshuffles reality.

Knowing without learning

As I grew older, that same invisible current began to show up in different forms. What once seemed like childhood magic started to reveal itself as an intelligence that guided learning and creation.

I remember once reading a book for school. I tried to study it, but the words refused to stay in my mind. Frustrated, I left it aside. Two days later, without touching it again, I realized I knew the material.

A huge change happened without changing anything in my circumstances. Not only did I remember it, but I completely understood it. I wrote the best test on that subject. It felt as if something beyond my conscious mind had been drinking from a source of knowing and revealed itself at just the right moment.

Learning through energy

Years later, that effortless knowing electrified a new adventure. As I delved into website programming, my mind buzzed with insecurity. I wasn’t prepared, not by skill or by knowledge. Yet when I let curiosity guide me, a surge of energy seemed to animate my hands. Lines of code I once feared unfolded before me, lighting me up. Every obstacle sparked a wave of passionate creativity, as if the universe was right there with me, guiding every keystroke.

The photographer before the camera

Creation kept calling in new forms. Just as lines of code once came alive with meaning, now light, form, and vision began to speak through the lens. It was as if the same current of life simply changed its canvas when, years later, Stocksy United’s otherworldly vision spoke to me on such a level that I felt instantly at home. The only challenge was that I wasn’t a photographer. I had a DSLR camera but knew nothing beyond automatic mode. The calling was strong, but at first, I didn’t consciously say yes to it. Twice, I applied and was rejected.

Then came an online challenge promising a place in the collective for the winner. Something instantly shifted. I decided, with full knowledge, “I’m in!” From that moment, everything changed. Though unfamiliar with the technical side, passion became the driving force. When I held the camera, everything was alive, the light, the lens, the moment itself. My fingers seemed to know what to do long before my mind caught up. It was intuitive, flowing, effortless.

I won that contest.

I got in before I was a photographer.

That experience taught me that vision, passion, and the willingness to show up fully can qualify anyone for anything. It’s learning straight from the Tree of Life.

The body and the mirror of love

Life also transforms how we see ourselves. The same energy that moved through art now turned to my body, reshaping how I related to my being and physical appearance.

There were many moments when life brought people who became living answers to questions I hadn’t yet asked. One of these was the synchronistic thread that led me to meet my future husband, which would be a whole story in itself.

At that time, I was very judgmental toward my physical body. Through his eyes, I began to see something entirely different, creation and magic. The relationship with my body changed completely. It was genuine, effortless, and completely defied all the efforts I had made before. My physical body reshaped itself, becoming flexible and alive. Love had reorganized the relatedness, the thoughts, and my very cells.

Connecting the dots in life

Each of these experiences was like a spark, illuminating different corners of the same truth. And then, one day, everything began to weave together, the threads of intuition, energy, and love forming a single tapestry of purpose.

I stumbled upon a Lewis Howes interview with Donny Epstein, and something just clicked. Awe. Fascination. Recognition. It was as if a call suddenly came alive. Afterward, I discovered an event in Denver, The Gate, where AlchemE was being offered for the first time. I didn’t hesitate. I went. Within the first month, so many pieces of my life began to connect. Supercausally, the future and past were weaving into one clear picture. I could see how everything, the learning, intuition, love, and creative flow, had always been part of a greater design. It was a glimpse into life’s natural rhythm, inviting us to express our unique connection to the energetic field beneath all things.

The natural way of spirit

Looking back, every instant change, every whisper of intuition, every moment of effortless knowing was life remembering itself through me. And as I keep following that quiet guidance, I see it’s never about reaching somewhere, it’s about allowing what’s already alive to move freely.

What once seemed like isolated miracles is now a natural rhythm. I now see spirituality as life expressing itself through me and all of us, through resourcefulness, creativity, passion, and presence. It’s not something I reach for, it’s something we remember, individually and collectively, at the same time.

Life, in its infinite intelligence, is always whispering, “Trust me and follow my guidance.” And when we do, the magic, the energy, the knowing, all of it unfolds, revealing more and more of who we truly are. Each of us carries a unique expression of this truth, a distinct lens through which the collective essence of life shines.
