Singapore, 6 June 2026 In a city known for its pace, ambition, and constant movement, The Curious Circle by El Brand offers something increasingly valuable: a space for genuine conversation. Launched by Singapore-based cross-border marketing agency El Brand, The Curious Circle is a curated gathering that brings together founders, creatives, business leaders, and decision-makers from diverse industries to exchange ideas, challenge perspectives, and build meaningful connections through curiosity.

The inaugural edition, held on 22 May 2026 at Chez Suzette in Singapore, gathered women leaders, entrepreneurs, architects, designers, marketers, and innovators under the theme "Curious Women Build Powerful Things." The evening focused not on traditional networking but on thoughtful conversations, shared experiences, and the possibilities that emerge when people from different disciplines come together.

"Community is not about size, but about supporting and building trust," said Paula Andrade, Founder of El Brand and creator of The Curious Circle. "We wanted to create a space where conversations have depth, where people feel comfortable sharing ideas, and where connections are built through curiosity rather than transactions."

The event featured speakers from various industries who explored topics spanning leadership, sustainability, personal identity, collaboration, and the environments that shape how people work and grow.

Featured speakers included:

  • Naomi Chang, Business Development Manager of The Work Boulevard, shared insights on how physical environments influence creativity, confidence, and professional growth.

  • Clarence Koo, Founder of Amica Labs and Signal House, discussed the importance of collaboration, trust, and cross-border partnerships in an increasingly connected Southeast Asia.

  • Alodia Cecilia, Founder of ACMS, who explored the relationship between personal style, self-awareness, and authentic self-expression.

  • Ar. Joan De Leon-Tabinas, Managing Director of CORE+ Studio and Founding Partner of GBUILDEX, spoke about sustainability, leadership, and designing systems that serve both people and communities.

The gathering also welcomed media leaders, entrepreneurs, and professionals from across Southeast Asia, including representatives from The Metro Edit and Expat Living.

According to attendees, what distinguished The Curious Circle was its intentional atmosphere. Rather than focusing on scale, the event prioritized meaningful exchanges, thoughtful dialogue, and authentic relationship-building. The result was an evening where conversations continued long after the formal program had ended.

The concept behind The Curious Circle reflects El Brand's belief that curiosity remains one of the most valuable drivers of innovation, collaboration, and growth. Research continues to show that curiosity strengthens learning, relationship-building, and the exploration of new ideas, making it a critical ingredient in both personal and professional development.

Following the success of its first edition, El Brand plans to continue growing The Curious Circle as a recurring platform for founders, creatives, business leaders, and curious minds seeking meaningful conversations and collaborative opportunities.

The initiative aligns with El Brand's broader mission of connecting people, ideas, and opportunities across borders through storytelling, community-building, and strategic partnerships.
