Tesla reported a new quarterly record in Q3 2025, delivering 497,099 vehicles globally - beating both analyst estimates and the same quarter last year. The spike in deliveries was largely driven by a rush among U.S. buyers to place orders before the expiration of the federal EV tax credit.

On the production side, Tesla manufactured 447,450 vehicles during the quarter, and they also achieved a milestone in energy products by deploying 12.5 GWh of storage systems.
Despite the strong global results, Tesla faces challenges in Europe. In August, its EV registrations were down by 22.5% year-on-year, while the broader European EV market grew.
Going forward, analysts caution that the end of U.S. subsidies could test Tesla’s ability to sustain demand in an unsubsidized market.
Tesla will release its full Q3 financial report on October 22.
