Most high-achieving women are not struggling because they lack skill, strategy, or intelligence. They are struggling because something else has been leading. Sam Kaur Evans names the six interference patterns she identified after more than a decade of work, and the six women her clients were always meant to become.

Have you ever wondered how some women seem to call in God and just nail it? Or how certain women move through life without ever doing a single piece of subconscious work, and still seem to have everything ordered?
Or perhaps that is you. You have done the work. The mindset sessions. The inner healing. The frameworks. The courses. You have read the books and followed the people you admire most. You have invested in yourself consistently. Yet, something still has not shifted the way you expected it to.
This has nothing to do with trying harder or doing more; it’s because nobody told you that the work you were doing was treating the symptom, not the source.
The source has a name. It is called an interference pattern. It has been running quietly underneath everything, your decisions, your relationships, your results, your identity, producing outcomes that do not match your actual capacity.
I did not find this in a research paper, a qualification, or a course. I lived in all of them. I had built a six-figure business, led hundreds of women, and carried more than I ever named out loud. Then, within the space of two years, I lost both of my beloved grandparents. Not one loss. Two. The kind of grief that does not just break your heart, it shocks your entire nervous system and reveals everything that was already fractured underneath.
I did not just slow down the business during that season. I lost it. What I had spent years building dismantled in ways I could not control and could not explain. Then came the moment of obedience, the decision to close everything down completely. Not because it had failed, but because the Father said stop. So, I stopped.
What followed was not a rebrand or a pivot. It was a dismantling. Months of carrying weight I could not name, inside a life that looked from the outside like it should have been fine. It was in that place, the grief, the silence, the stripping back, that I began to see the patterns. Not from a distance, but from the inside.
This is how the DIA:EQ® was born, from the wreckage that became the foundation.
Across more than one thousand high-achieving women in leadership, I identified six distinct interference patterns. Not personality types. Not labels. Not boxes to place yourself inside. These are diagnostic states, interference signals that have embedded themselves into a woman's operating identity and are quietly producing outcomes that do not match her actual capacity.
What is an interference pattern?
An interference pattern is not who you are. It’s what has been layered over who you are. It forms through unprocessed experiences, inherited belief systems, and environments that required you to adapt in order to survive or succeed. For many of the women I work with, it also forms through spiritual entanglement, frameworks and identities that were never anchored in truth, adding layers of noise over the original signal.
The interference pattern becomes the operating system. It runs quietly in the background, influencing every decision, every relationship, every response, until it is seen, named, and addressed at the root.
Let me show you who they are.
The approval-bound to the sovereign
She has mastered the art of holding others. She reads rooms before anyone speaks. She adjusts her tone, softens her message, and fills gaps before anyone asks. Love runs deep here, but slowly and almost invisibly, that love has turned into labour.
Being needed has begun to feel safer than being led. The approval-bound woman has not built her leadership on weakness. She built it on an early lesson that her worth was conditional on what she gave, how she showed up, and whether the room felt settled because of her. So, she became exceptional at it. She gave access to everyone and forgot how to hold herself.
The interference is not her personality. It is bondage dressed as diplomacy. When the interference clears, she becomes the sovereign, a woman who leads from settled authority rather than performed confidence. She no longer adjusts herself to manage the comfort of others. She has learned whose voice actually holds weight. She moves because she is led, not because she has been approved.
The emotion-led to the governed
She feels everything deeply. Her sensitivity is real, and her passion is genuine. One day she is anchored, clear, and moving with conviction. The next day the frequency drops, and she is questioning decisions the Father already confirmed.
The emotion-led woman is not unstable. She is unordered. Her inner world moves with every wave she generates from within, a disappointment, a setback, a moment where the certainty she felt yesterday cannot be found today. She rises fast and crashes quietly. She waits to feel aligned before she moves again. She mistakes emotional intensity for divine clarity.
The interference is not her feeling deeply. It is that emotion has been steering when it was only ever meant to inform.
When the interference clears, she becomes the governed, a woman whose inner world has structure around it. She still feels everything. The difference is that her feelings are now information, not instruction. She no longer waits for the right feeling before she moves. She moves because she is ordered.
The strategist to the aligned
She thinks ahead. She anticipates problems before they exist and builds order where others feel chaos. People trust her conviction because she always seems to know the next step. Somewhere along the way, though, her planning stopped feeling peaceful and started feeling protective.
The strategist does not struggle to work. She struggles to trust. She waits for 100% certainty before she moves. She analyses the how until obedience feels unsafe. She has built systems and structures that give her a sense of security, but the structure has quietly become the cage.
She calls it strategy. Her spirit recognises it as strain.
The interference is not her capability. It is that her understanding has become her armour. Logic feels safer than His whisper. She is preparing more than she is moving, and she mistakes being ready for being in control.
When the interference clears, she becomes the submitted strategist, still brilliant, still precise, still exceptional at building. The difference is that she is no longer building from self-protection. She is building from surrender. Her gifts are still fully present. She now allows them to be multiplied by what she could never have orchestrated alone.
The mirror to the consecrated
She feels everything in a room before anyone speaks. She is perceptive, prophetic even, reading what others miss long before they notice it. She has done the work. She has invested in herself, explored frameworks, gathered tools, and collected languages for her experience. Somewhere along the way, her clarity became crowded.
The mirror woman is not confused. She is overloaded. She walks into rooms and absorbs the emotional atmosphere as if it belongs to her. She adjusts her tone to keep the peace. She softens her message to manage the comfort of others. She hears God, and she also hears everyone else, loudly, and the noise has been drowning out the direction.
She knows what every framework says about her. She does not know what God says about her.
The interference is not her sensitivity or her self-awareness. It is that her gift of discernment has been left unshielded. She has become a mirror to the room instead of a signal to it.
When the interference clears, she becomes the clear signal, a woman whose identity is no longer diluted by what she absorbs from others. Her message stops shifting. Her certainty stops wavering. She is no longer reflecting the room. She is leading it.
The visionary to the sent
She sees it. She has always seen it. She receives ideas, direction, and revelation faster than most people can process. The vision is not the problem. The vision has never been the problem.
The visionary is delayed by hesitation that dresses itself as wisdom. She over-prepares while telling herself she is being responsible. She asks for confirmation even after the Father has already spoken. She waits to feel fully ready before she moves, and fully ready never quite arrives.
Her true fear is not failure. It is exposure. It is visibility. It is the cost of actually being seen in the fullness of what she was called to carry.
So, the ideas stack up. The preparation continues. The window of opportunity narrows. She calls it strategy. Her spirit recognizes it as a heavy strain.
The interference is not her vision. It is the gap between what God showed her and where she is still standing. He is not withholding the next step. He is waiting on her to take it.
When the interference clears, she becomes the sent, a woman who moves because she is commanded, not because she feels ready. She stops waiting for the perfect moment. She stops preparing to build. She is already moving.
The anchor to the multiplier
She holds everything. Her family, her team, her community, her clients, they all function, in part, because she has quietly positioned herself as the load-bearing wall.
Strength became a system. The system is now running her. She absorbs pressure until it becomes normal. She takes responsibility for situations that were never her assignment. She steps in because she can, not because she should. She gives access to everyone and protects access to herself. She is generous to depletion and calls it faithfulness.
The truth she rarely admits is this: she does not want to be the strong one all the time. She longs for a moment where someone else carries the weight. The interference is not her strength. It is the covenant she made with burden.
When the interference clears, she becomes the multiplier, a woman who no longer carries everything so others can function. She multiplies without feeling like everything depends on her. Her strength becomes generative, not sacrificial. She serves from overflow, not obligation.
What this means for you
Most women read these six patterns and recognize themselves. Sometimes in one. Sometimes in several. Sometimes in all of them at different seasons of their life.
That recognition is not condemnation. It is precision. It is the beginning of something that no mindset session, no framework, and no amount of self-awareness work ever gave you, a name for what has actually been running. These are not aspirational personalities you have to perform your way into. They are the women you become when the interference is addressed at its root.
I know because I have been on both sides of this framework. I have lived the patterns. I have walked through the formation. I have experienced what shifts when the interference is finally named.
I have sat with women who have spent years doing the work. Thousands invested. Hundreds of hours. Real effort, real commitment, real desire to change. Something still did not shift. Not because they were not trying, but because they were addressing the surface and the source was still untouched.
That is what DIA:EQ® was built for. Not to add another layer. To remove what was never supposed to be there.
You have capacity that your current results do not reflect. You have a calling that your interference has been quietly blocking. You have an identity that has been buried underneath patterns that formed before you even knew they were forming.
The interference has a name. Once it is named, it cannot hide.
The DIA:EQ® Precise Diagnostic is an assessment that identifies which interference pattern is currently running your leadership, and your specific path toward your restored identity.
