Can you introduce us to Rē and the inspiration behind its creation?

Launching this November, Rē Wellness Club aims to redefine wellness in Dubai. The idea for Rē emerged during the pandemic when I saw how people sought holistic ways to handle stress, anxiety, and isolation. "We noticed people turning to practices like meditation, breathwork, and ice baths as a way to reconnect and reset," I recall. Together with my co-founder, Talal Kalaawi, we envisioned Rē as a luxurious sanctuary where these transformative practices could coexist under one roof.

How has Rē evolved from that initial concept?

Rē has developed into the UAE’s first-of-its-kind social wellness club, a destination where well-being is about fostering connection and transformation. Located at One Central, Downtown Dubai, Rē combines cutting-edge wellness practices with a sense of community that’s modern and authentic. Our journey has been one of consistency and hard work, the vision and dedication have been instrumental in raising the bar for holistic wellness in a way that fits today’s lifestyle.

What makes Rē different from other wellness spaces?

Rē is not just a club; it’s a place for people to fully reset, slow down and experience a deeper level of well-being. We designed it as a sanctuary for physical, mental, and biochemical health, which is something entirely new to the UAE. By blending science-backed services with a meticulously crafted environment, Rē offers a lifestyle transformation that’s both exclusive and impactful.

Why did you choose Dubai as the home for Rē?

Dubai, with its emphasis on innovation, felt like the perfect place to introduce Rē’s unique blend of luxury and wellness. Talal and I both believe that Dubai’s dynamic energy aligns with Rē’s vision of modern wellness; both luxurious and transformative.

How did you and Talal tailor Rē specifically for Dubai’s lifestyle?

While the concept of Rē started with a global shift toward wellness, we customized it for Dubai's fast-paced and high-standard lifestyle. Our aim was to create a space where members could connect with themselves and each other in a sophisticated, calming environment.

Can you tell us about the pillars that form the foundation of Rē?

At Rē, our approach is rooted in three pillars: Bio-Mechanical Health, Bio-Chemical Health, and Mental Health.

  • Bio-mechanical health focuses on movement, strength, and restoration. We offer holistic physiotherapy, reformer pilates, and personalized training. Our yoga sessions integrate both the physical and mental aspects of wellness, combining strength with mindfulness.

  • Bio-chemical health is dedicated to optimizing wellness from within, using functional diagnostic nutrition and tailored supplementation. This supports gut health, immune function, and hormonal balance, with each plan customized to align with the individual’s lifestyle.

  • Mental health includes sound healing and meditation practices to foster calm and clarity. We also offer ice baths and saunas, providing immersive experiences that support both physical and mental flexibility, creating a shared bond among members that extends beyond solo wellness.

How does the design of Rē contribute to its community-focused atmosphere?

Rē’s design, crafted by a renowned Canadian designer, creates a seamless blend of relaxation and social connection. Every detail, from earthy materials to open, inviting spaces, promotes mindfulness and community. When you step into Rē, you are joining a wellness space where authentic connections can flourish through shared experiences.

What kind of experience can members expect from Rē’s offerings?

Our offerings are designed to cater to those seeking an elevated wellness experience, with options for both individual sessions and curated packages. Wellness is deeply personal, so we’ve created options that empower members to engage in ways that best suit them. For those looking for a structured journey, our packages provide added value and the freedom to explore various classes and therapies. This approach connects members to a refined community of like-minded individuals, supporting each other’s growth.

What is your long-term vision for Rē in the UAE?

Our goal is to set a new standard for wellness in the UAE, creating a wellness community that goes beyond physical fitness. By continually integrating the latest research and practices, we ensure that our members receive the best in wellness. Talal and I see Rē becoming a cornerstone of the UAE’s wellness movement, a sanctuary where members feel valued, inspired, and supported. Our mission is to leave a legacy that resonates deeply with every member.
