We often hear about “mindset” as if it’s just another buzzword, one more thing to fix on our to-do list. But what if mindset isn’t something you work on, but something you live from? What if a renewed mind isn’t just motivational, but spiritual warfare in action?

Two pink outlined human profiles facing each other on a purple background, exchanging colorful balls symbolizing idea exchange.

This is the story of Sha, an everyday dreamer turned entrepreneur, who thought she had faith, until her circumstances taught her that true faith is forged in fire. Through her journey, you’ll discover not only the mindset tips you never thought you needed, but also the truths God uses to shape warriors for purpose.

The journey to destiny begins with breaking

Sha didn’t start her journey thinking she’d be a warrior. She simply wanted more out of life, more peace, more impact, and more alignment with what God created her to do.

She launched her business with high hopes, prayer journals full of promises, and a vision board glued with scriptures. But then came the delays, betrayals, self-doubt, and long nights with no sales, no voice, and, seemingly, no help. She prayed, fasted, tithed, but the breakthrough didn’t come when she wanted it.

Still, God was working.

“And let us not be weary in doing well: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.” – Galatians 6:9

Critical lessons from the storms

1. Critical moments taught her what comfort never could

It was in the corner, emotionally, financially, and mentally, that Sha realized something: God doesn’t just prepare tables, He forges warriors. Being cornered doesn’t mean being crushed. It means being positioned for perspective.

Every tear Sha cried watered a deeper root of trust. Every no from a client was a yes from heaven in disguise.

2. The odds were against her, but God was with her

When people walked away, Sha realized they were never assigned to her future. When the family misunderstood her ambition, she learned the difference between support and alignment.

Faith isn’t proven when things go well; it’s proven when everything says quit, and you still show up.

“If God be for us, who can be against us?” – Romans 8:31

3. Hidden in plain sight

There were moments when Sha felt invisible. Watching others get platforms, promotions, and praise while she stayed in the background.

But that season was protection, not punishment. God hides His best work until it’s time to reveal the masterpiece.

“He that dwelleth in the secret place of the Most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.” – Psalm 91:1

The power of mindset shifts

Stand your ground for destiny

  • When life gets hard, it’s not time to retreat, it’s time to reinforce your why. Standing your ground is warfare. The moment you give up could be the moment right before it turns.

  • Mindset shift: I’m not failing; I’m being fortified.

Walk boldly in purpose, even when you’re limping

  • Sha learned that walking on purpose doesn’t always feel powerful. Sometimes it’s limping with faith. You don’t need perfect conditions to move. You just need obedience.

  • “The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord: and he delighteth in his way.” – Psalm 37:23

  • Mindset shift: Purpose isn’t a feeling, it’s a path.

Closed doors are often God’s mercy

  • Ava cried over closed opportunities, but later learned what felt like rejection was divine redirection. Some doors shut because what’s behind them can’t carry your destiny.

  • Mindset shift: If it’s not God’s will, I don’t want it.

  • “Behold, I have set before thee an open door, and no man can shut it.” – Revelation 3:8

Rest is warfare too

  • The enemy wants burnout, not just failure. Ava learned that rest isn’t weakness—it’s wisdom. Peace is a weapon. Restoration is strategy.

  • Mindset shift: I don’t hustle for peace; I operate from it.

  • “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.” – Matthew 11:28

  • Faith + Entrepreneurship = Spiritual Warfare

  • Being an entrepreneur taught Sha that success isn’t about branding, it’s about belief. Every invoice, every launch, every prayer behind a product is a declaration that God’s plan is bigger than fear.

  • Entrepreneurship is a testament of faith, because you create what doesn’t exist yet. You walk into rooms without validation, trusting the vision God gave you in private.

Sha’s triumphs

Despite the battles, Sha:

  • Published her first book after three years of silence.

  • Built a business from scratch without capital.

Became a speaker, coaching others to heal their mindset.

  • Found joy in the process, not just the outcome.

But more than anything, she found God in every storm, and herself in the ashes.

Early recognition: Your turning points start now

1. Acknowledge your accomplishments

The turning point in Sha’s story wasn’t a major breakthrough—it was a decision to shift her mindset. You don’t need a miracle moment to begin. You need a renewed mind.

“Be transformed by the renewing of your mind…” – Romans 12:2

If you’re in a hard season, misunderstood, unseen, or uncertain, take heart.

God is not done with you. You are not behind. And you are not broken, you are becoming.

Final word: This is your call to rise

The mindset tips you never thought you needed? They aren’t tips. They’re truths that carry spiritual weight. And once you learn to live from them, not just learn them, everything changes. Your destiny is real. Your purpose is intact. Your breakthrough is not delayed, it’s being developed.
