Who is Hamza Baig? Introduce yourself, your hobbies, your favorites, you at home and in business. Tell us something interesting about yourself.
I founded Hexona Systems and the Automation Institute, where I built the world’s largest AI education community and one of the fastest-growing automation agencies. Today, we are a seven-figure, award-winning company, but the journey began years ago when I was one of the first to use ChatGPT for real business applications. I shared my early experiments on social media, and the response was immediate. Those posts went viral, my following grew to more than 250,000, and I quickly became recognized as one of the leading voices in the AI automation.
When I am not building businesses, I am chasing experiences. I have spent six months at a time traveling through dozens of cities and countries. I have surfed the Pacific Ocean, jumped off cliffs with nothing but a bungee cord, and tested myself with extreme adventures that most people would never try. I also run a well-known food blog, which has taken me from hole-in-the-wall street vendors to some of the best restaurants in the world.
A fun fact about me is that my grandmother grew up in a palace as royalty. Our family’s wealth and status disappeared generations ago, but that legacy drives me. It pushes me to build something significant and lasting that can stand the test of time.
What made you decide to focus on AI-driven automation as your specialty?
I have always had an instinct for spotting innovation before it hits the mainstream. I was buying Bitcoin in 2013, building websites in high school, and even uploaded my first YouTube video in 2007. The real turning point came during a visit to San Francisco, before ChatGPT had launched. I could see how close the tech world was to making AI and automation accessible to everyone, and I knew I had to be ready for that wave.
I threw myself into learning how large language models worked and mastered prompt engineering long before most people even knew the term. My early career in startups showed me just how much money and time businesses were wasting through inefficiency, and I realized AI would fix those pain points. I started creating some of the first YouTube videos showing how local businesses could use industry-specific automations. Once I saw the results firsthand, I knew this was the future. That was years before AI became mainstream, and I went all in.
How do you define “automation” in the context of small to medium businesses?
For small and medium businesses, automation is about eliminating the gaps in operations that cost revenue. It is not just about replacing manual work with software. It is about capturing every lead, responding instantly, improving retention, and maximizing lifetime value so nothing is left on the table.
Automation allows these businesses to run with the efficiency of much larger organizations without adding headcount. It creates systems that work in the background at all times, giving owners more clarity and control. At its core, automation is a tool to strengthen cash flow and profit, which are the real indicators of business health.
What is the single biggest problem your clients face before working with you?
Most of the businesses we work with are doing at least a million in annual revenue, which means they already have momentum but also significant revenue leaks. Leads slip through the cracks during intake or follow-up, retention strategies are not fully developed, and lifetime value is not being maximized. The result is always the same, money left on the table.
That is where AI and automation step in. We close the gaps, stop the leaks, and create systems that generate a clear and measurable ROI. My focus has always been on strengthening cash flow and profit, not chasing vanity metrics. Businesses feel the impact quickly because the numbers tell the story. Revenue goes up, costs go down, and the systems keep delivering results every day.
Can you walk us through a typical transformation your clients experience?
A daycare we worked with is a good example of a very typical transformation. They received up to 30 new inquiries daily from Facebook ads, but because the staff could not respond quickly, it often took 24 to 48 hours before parents were contacted. By that time, many had already enrolled elsewhere. Staff were spending more than 15 hours a week chasing leads, and the business was losing tens of thousands of dollars in tuition.
We automated the entire intake process. Every parent inquiry now receives a personalized response within two minutes, followed by AI-led qualification, tour scheduling, and reminders. As a result, the daycare saw a 40 percent reduction in lead drop-off, a 15 percent increase in registrations, and more than $80,000 in additional annual revenue. Staff also gained valuable time to focus on families.
This is typical of what we do across industries. Whether it is a daycare, a medspa, or a real estate group, the pattern is the same. We remove the bottlenecks, increase revenue, and free the business to focus on growth.
What unique frameworks or methods do you use that set you apart from others?
Several things make us stand out. We use proprietary systems inside our agency, including a prompting framework we developed and protected. Our team includes world-class engineers, including former Amazon talent, which gives us a level of technical expertise most agencies cannot match.
We also take a financial ROI-first approach. When we work with clients, the discussion is never about vague metrics like time saved. It is about measurable results, such as new revenue generated, ROAS improvement, or cost reductions. Clients know their investment is tied directly to outcomes.
Another difference is that our own agency is highly automated. We run a lean team that produces output at a level most competitors cannot replicate without raising large rounds of funding. Finally, there is the credibility of my personal brand. I have spent years building trust and authority in this space. Many clients come to us already confident that we are the best fit, while others in the industry are still trying to prove themselves.
How do you help non-technical founders implement automation without feeling overwhelmed?
I built my entire brand on making AI and automation accessible to people who do not come from a technical background. That is personal for me, because I was one of them.
I studied finance, worked in sales, and had to figure out automation the way a non-engineer would. That experience taught me exactly how to explain complex systems in a simple and actionable way.
The feedback I hear most often is, “You make this so easy to understand.” I never drown clients in jargon or technical details. Instead, I focus on outcomes that matter, higher revenue, stronger retention, and fewer leaks. Clients do not need to know how the wiring works. They just need to see that the lights come on reliably every single time.
What results or metrics do you guarantee (or aim for) for your clients?
We do not measure success by time saved. We measure it by revenue and profit. A project is only successful if it generates more money than it costs and continues to do so over time. That is why we track financials and KPIs closely with every client.
The results we aim for are precise. We look at revenue directly attributable to the automation, improvements in ROAS, and cost savings where manual work has been replaced. The goal is always to create a return that pays for itself quickly and continues compounding over the long term.
What kinds of businesses or entrepreneurs benefit most from your services?
The businesses that benefit most are those with structured systems already in place. When processes are documented, it is easier for us to identify where automation will create the most impact. Companies with clear goals and measurable targets also see strong results, because we can work backwards from their objectives and implement solutions with confidence.
On the entrepreneur side, we look for forward-thinking leaders who are willing to embrace change. Implementing automation often means rethinking what worked in the past in order to unlock the future. That can feel risky, but those who are willing to take that leap are the ones who see the biggest rewards.
What should a prospective client do first if they want to get started with you?
The first step is to make sure the business has strong foundations, with clear processes that are already working and ready to scale. Once they are at that point, the next move is to book a discovery call with us. On that call, we review the organization, walk through the SOPs, and identify the gaps, leaks, and inefficiencies. After hundreds of projects, we can usually recognize the patterns quickly.
From there, we create a tailored roadmap that shows the solutions we will implement, the measurable impact they will make, and the timeline for delivery. We like to work fast, so once the client approves the plan, we can begin executing as early as the next day.
