In the ever-evolving world of tech startups, there’s one thing I’ve learned at Sessions: adversity reveals our true strength. Over the past few years, my colleagues and I have poured our hearts into building a collaboration platform that tens of thousands of entrepreneurs and coaches rely on every day. Our mission has always been to create a tool that simplifies the chaotic world of scheduling, video calls, webinars, and everything in between, all in one seamless place.

But the journey hasn’t been easy.

Recently, we’ve faced our greatest challenge yet. We’re in the red. We’re behind on payroll. We’ve lost some key team members. And we’re in debt. It’s a scary place to be for any startup. The weight of these challenges could have easily led us to retreat, to keep our struggles hidden from the world. But Radu Negulescu, our CEO, made a different choice.

Instead of keeping our situation a secret, Radu took to LinkedIn to share the reality of where we stand. It was a bold move, being vulnerable in a space that often glorifies only success. But it was also a necessary one. In the world of startups, where the stakes are high and the margins are slim, vulnerability is not a weakness. It’s a strength that brings people together, sparks innovation, and fosters resilience.

We believe that transparency is the cornerstone of trust. By opening up about our challenges, we’re not just seeking empathy, we’re inviting others in the startup community to join us in redefining what success looks like. It’s not just about the big wins; it’s about the perseverance, the grit, and the unyielding belief in what we’re building, even when the odds are stacked against us.

At Sessions, we’re not lying down. We’ve launched a brand new LTD (Lifetime Deal) campaign, offering an opportunity for people to support us while securing a deal for themselves. With multiple tiers available, everyone from solopreneurs to teams hosting large online events will benefit. Why? Because Sessions brings everything into one place, scheduling, video calls, webinars, bookings, transcripts, AI summaries, interactive agendas, whiteboards, and more.

This allows people to streamline their operations and cancel costly subscriptions.

For us, this campaign isn’t just about survival; it’s about ensuring that we can continue doing what we love best: empowering professionals with the tools they need to succeed. We’re in a scary place, but it’s also a place where growth happens. Adversity doesn’t have to be the end of the story. It can be the beginning of something new, something stronger. We hope our story inspires you to keep pushing forward, to be vulnerable when it matters most, and to never lose sight of your purpose.
