Ayomide Inufin, known as Ayomide D’Great, is a Nigerian-born UK-based Creative whose artistry has become a force to reckon with. He’s a multi-award-winning writer, poet, and artist, his creative initiative, Spotlight Poetry, is an artistic niche that gives expression and a resounding voice to societal occurrences.


In one of his interviews held in a private studio space in London, England, he revealed that he is exploring several sounds, tunes, and languages, starting with his native language, the Yoruba language, which he plans to extend to other languages in the world.


His incredible talent started out in his home country, Nigeria, where he lived most of his life before moving abroad. He mentioned in some of his interviews that he at some point lived in Ibadan, where he wrote several collections of poems, stories, business proposals, and projects for brands and organizations across the country.


In the summer of 2024, he wrote what he called his official first global poem, titled “Who is Ayomide D’Great?” that later premiered in Liverpool. The Spotlight poem gained much attention across London, Manchester, Birmingham, and Sheffield cities of the United Kingdom. His creative consistency will later earn him a Poetry Award in London later in the winter of 2025.


Ayomide’s 2025 smashing milestones include the following, but are not limited:


  • London: Word & Flow Poetry Award for Spoken Word Newcomer.

  • Liverpool: A Supporting Headliner at the UK’s first Poetry Expo held in the heart of Merseyside, England.

  • Manchester: His Spotlight Poems earned him a Poetry Corner at the Manchester Central Library, which has become a monument, according to a report by Bury Council Library in Prestwich, England.

  • Sheffield: Sheffield-based Art hub Utopia Theatre, in partnership with Sheffield Theatre, Spotlighted Ayomide in a number of their Open Mic Sessions, where he headlined and performed thought-provoking masterpieces that commanded attention and recognition.

  • Brainz Magazine: Sweden-Based Global Digital Magazine puts a spotlight on Ayomide as he was listed in their 2025’s Top 500 emblem of creativity across the whole of Europe and the world at large, positioning a narrative that adds value to the creative world.


Ayomide D’Great’s artistry is a symbol of greatness and motivation to his generation and a constant reminder that one’s voice and art matter in society, that talent takes you to unimaginable places in the world.
