Could you briefly introduce yourself and share a bit about your interests or passions?


I'm Venkata Ravella, Founder & CEO of The Lavence Group® and Violetis®. I have over 14 years of experience in the IT industry, having worked as a Full Stack Developer and Development Technical Lead at companies like Weir Group, Siemens, Meta, and others.


One of my core passions has always been using technology — especially AI — to solve real-world problems. Throughout my career, I saw many talented individuals struggle to find the right job opportunities, which inspired me to create Violetis®, an AI-powered recruitment platform that connects jobseekers and employers more intelligently.


I shared my dreams and thoughts with my life partner, who played a crucial role in helping me shape these ideas and encouraged me as I laid the foundation for Violetis®. Her support has been invaluable on this journey.


Beyond recruitment, I’m passionate about building innovative solutions that make a real impact. We’re currently developing a full ecosystem under The World of Violetis®, with products spanning workplace collaboration, AI development, research, cloud, commerce, and security — all driven by AI and purpose.


Can you describe your business and how it benefits your clients?


My business includes The Lavence Group®, a technology-driven company focused on building AI-powered solutions, and Violetis®, our flagship product. Violetis® is an AI-based recruitment platform designed to intelligently connect jobseekers with employers, making the hiring process faster, smarter, and more efficient. It helps jobseekers find the right opportunities while enabling employers to identify the best talent through intelligent matching.


We're also developing a broader ecosystem called The World of Violetis®, which includes upcoming products like Violetis® Workplace, AI Studio, Commerce AI, Identity & Security, and Violetis® Cloud — all designed to solve real-world challenges in hiring, productivity, innovation, and digital transformation. Our goal is to provide smart, scalable solutions that help clients stay competitive and future-ready.


How did you start your career, and what led you to where you are today?


I began my career over 14 years ago as a Full Stack Developer and Development Technical Lead, working with prestigious global companies like Weir Group, Siemens, and Meta. Early on, I was passionate about technology and its potential to solve real-world problems, but what truly motivated me was seeing the challenges talented individuals faced in finding meaningful job opportunities.


This experience inspired me to explore how Artificial Intelligence could bridge that gap. As AI started gaining traction in the industry, I dedicated myself to innovating in this space, turning a long-held dream into reality with the creation of Violetis®, an AI-powered recruitment platform designed to intelligently connect jobseekers with employers.


But Violetis® is much more than recruitment. It’s evolving into a comprehensive, open-source AI ecosystem — The World of Violetis® — which will include advanced AI workplaces, cloud infrastructure, research labs, commerce solutions, and security platforms. Our vision is bold: to make Violetis® one of the world’s largest, most trusted AI platforms, empowering businesses and individuals everywhere.


“My journey started with writing code, but today it’s about leading a movement,” Ravella reflects. “I’m driven by the belief that the future is AI-powered, and that future belongs to Violetis®.”


Ravella’s motivation is rooted not just in technological ambition, but also in a deep desire to create fairer opportunities for people overlooked by outdated hiring systems. His personal observations of talented individuals struggling to find meaningful work inspired his commitment to making recruitment more efficient and human-centered.


“Technology must be built to serve people,” he emphasizes. “That’s what gives innovation its true purpose.”

What are your current business goals, and how are you working toward achieving them?


Our current business goal is to establish Violetis® as a world-leading AI platform — an open-source ecosystem that transforms recruitment, workplace collaboration, innovation, security, commerce, and cloud infrastructure. This vision is what we call The World of Violetis®.


To achieve this, my talented team and I, alongside our supportive and visionary investors, are developing several cutting-edge products under the Violetis® umbrella, including:


  • Violetis® Workplace — an intelligent, AI-powered collaboration environment

  • Violetis® AI Studio — a platform for building and deploying custom AI solutions

  • Violetis® Research & Development Labs — driving innovation and exploring emerging technologies

  • Violetis® Identity & Security — ensuring secure and seamless digital identity management

  • Violetis® Cloud — the world’s first AI-based cloud platform, built from the ground up with AI at its core

If you could change one thing about your industry, what would it be?


If I could change one thing about the technology and recruitment industry, it would be to make the entire hiring process far more human-centered and efficient through intelligent automation. Too many talented individuals struggle for months, sometimes years, simply because the systems in place are outdated, impersonal, or fail to truly understand both candidates’ potential and employers’ needs.


I believe AI has the power to bridge this gap, not by replacing humans, but by enhancing human connection and decision-making. My goal with Violetis® and our broader AI ecosystem is to transform recruitment and workplace technologies into tools that empower people, foster meaningful opportunities, and create a fairer, more accessible job market for everyone.


Can you share a personal challenge you’ve overcome and how it affected you?


One of the biggest personal challenges I faced early in my career was witnessing the struggles of talented people around me who were unable to find the right job opportunities despite their skills and dedication. This challenge wasn’t just a professional obstacle — it deeply affected me on a personal level because I knew so many deserving individuals were being left behind by traditional recruitment systems.


This experience fueled my determination to create a solution that could truly make a difference. It led me to focus on Artificial Intelligence as a tool to bridge this gap, resulting in the creation of Violetis®, an AI-based recruitment platform designed to connect job seekers and employers more effectively.


Overcoming this challenge taught me the power of purpose-driven innovation and reinforced my belief that technology must be built to serve people. It strengthened my commitment to building products that not only solve problems but also uplift communities and create opportunities.


Could you tell us about your greatest career accomplishment so far?


One of my greatest career accomplishments so far is founding Violetis®, an AI-powered recruitment platform that addresses a critical challenge I witnessed firsthand: connecting talented job seekers with the right employers efficiently and fairly. Turning this vision into reality after years of experience in the IT industry, working with companies like Weir Group, Siemens, and Meta, is something I’m deeply proud of.


What makes this achievement especially meaningful is that Violetis® is not just a product — it’s the foundation of The World of Violetis®, a growing ecosystem of AI-driven solutions aimed at transforming multiple industries. Building a platform that combines advanced technology with a human-centered mission to improve people’s lives is the true highlight of my career so far.


What’s one valuable insight or piece of advice you’d like to share with our readers?


One valuable insight I’d like to share is this: embrace technology not just as a tool, but as a partner in your journey. Especially with AI rapidly evolving, it’s easy to feel overwhelmed or uncertain. But the key is to focus on how technology can amplify your unique strengths and solve real problems.
