Elizabeth De Sevo is an internationally recognized author and speaker who is dedicated to empowering others through the power of intentional living. As the author of Choose Your MOMents, how the sudden loss of my mother taught me how to live, Elizabeth invites individuals to reclaim their agency, embrace presence, and make conscious choices that shape not only their days, but their destinies. Her work transcends inspiration; it is a call to action to live boldly, authentically, and with unwavering purpose.

Raised in Lincroft, New Jersey, Elizabeth cultivated an early passion for communication, connection, and storytelling. Her career took her into the dynamic world of sports and entertainment, where she managed Olympic figure skaters and produced global sporting and business events. Her work brought her across continents and cultures, ultimately leading her to build a life in Madrid, Spain, where she has thrived for over a decade.

Yet amid her professional accomplishments, it was a deeply personal loss, the sudden passing of her mother, that transformed the trajectory of Elizabeth’s life. That experience taught her a profound truth: life is not measured solely by milestones or achievements, but by the moments we choose to live fully, with presence and intention, now being called “MOMents” in honor of her mother. From this revelation, Choose Your MOMents was born. A beautifully crafted book blending powerful quotes, reflections, and wisdom to guide readers toward intentional, meaningful living.

Following the loss of her mother, Elizabeth made it her mission to spread the concept of “MOMents” and create space for conversations about grief and loss in all its forms in Fortune 500 companies as well as local businesses and organizations. She helps leaders and teams to embrace choice and intention to enrich both their personal and professional lives.

Her impact as a speaker has garnered recognition from some of the world’s most respected organizations. Elizabeth has been invited to speak for Google, McDonald's and other leading corporations, where she shares not only her insights on intentional living, mindset, and leadership, but also her personal journey and the powerful lessons from Choose Your MOMents. Through these transformative sessions, she equips audiences seeking clarity, resilience, and purpose with practical tools and inspiration to apply both personally and professionally. Her ability to connect across industries, cultures, and roles reflects both her global perspective and her unwavering belief that the power of choice transcends all boundaries. Elizabeth’s philosophy is simple yet transformative: every moment holds the power to shape our lives, and by choosing our moments intentionally, we reclaim our power, rewrite our narratives, and rise into the fullest expression of who we’re meant to be. Her work empowers individuals to see beyond circumstance, embrace the present, and live a life aligned with their deepest values.

Today, Elizabeth De Sevo continues to spread the “MOMents” message. Through her writing, speaking, and coaching, she is leading a movement to redefine success, purpose, and fulfillment in a world too often focused on speed over substance. Her journey is a testament to the extraordinary power of choice, the resilience of the human spirit, and the undeniable beauty of living intentionally, one MOMent at a time.
