Beth Levis, Founder and CEO

Can you tell us a bit about your background and what inspired you to start By Beth?

My journey to founding By Beth began with my own personal struggles. I experienced extreme skin dehydration while breastfeeding each of my four kids, leading to flaking skin that no cream or makeup could cover up. It was embarrassing and frustrating. My own health battles, including rashes, glandular fever, and severe brain fog, eventually led me to discover the profound connection between gut health and overall wellness. Learning about the gut-skin, gut-energy, and gut-brain connections through a naturopath was life-changing. I created By Beth to offer others the same transformation I experienced—to provide a real, effective solution that empowers women to look and feel their best.

What makes By Beth stand out in the luxury wellness market?

By Beth is more than just a collagen brand; it's a movement towards holistic beauty and wellness. Our products combine high-quality Australian bovine collagen with native botanicals like Davidson plum and Quandong, which are rich in Vitamin C. But what truly sets us apart is our focus on the complete experience. From digital resources and expert guidance to our beautiful vessels and the upcoming By Beth app, we aim to offer our customers an immersive and transformative journey to health and beauty.

How do you integrate your personal story into your brand’s messaging?

Authenticity is at the heart of By Beth. I openly share my personal struggles with skin issues, exhaustion, and even trauma, because I know so many women can relate. These experiences are woven into everything from our marketing to our educational content, including our eBooks like 'Gut Instinct.' I also dive deeper into these topics on my podcast and YouTube channel, where I share expert insights, real-life experiences, and practical tips for living a vibrant, healthy life. I want our community to feel seen and understood, knowing that our products are born from real-life challenges and genuine solutions.

What role do clinical studies play in your product development?

Clinical evidence is crucial to us. We regularly reference studies showing the benefits of collagen for skin, gut health, and overall vitality. For instance, studies have demonstrated how bovine collagen can improve skin elasticity, reduce wrinkles, and support gut lining integrity. We believe in combining nature’s wisdom with scientific backing to offer products that genuinely work.

What advice would you give to mothers struggling with their energy levels and appearance?

First and foremost, be kind to yourself. So many mothers put everyone else first and neglect their own needs. Small, consistent steps can lead to significant changes. Prioritize nutrition, especially quality protein intake—our By Beth collagen is a simple yet powerful way to do this. And surround yourself with positivity, whether through community, resources, or simply giving yourself the grace to take a break. I always encourage our audience to tune into my podcast or watch our YouTube channel for practical advice and inspiration to keep moving forward.

Beth Levis' story is a testament to resilience, authenticity, and the power of combining personal experience with professional passion. Through By Beth, she continues to inspire and support women on their journey to reclaim their energy, beauty, and confidence. Her mission is clear: to transform not just how women look, but how they feel every day. You can explore more of Beth’s insights in her book 'Gut Instinct,' on her podcast, and on her YouTube channel, where she continues to share valuable knowledge and guidance on holistic wellness.
