1. Have clarity on what you want

Success starts with you, your dream, and your vision. Having clarity on what you want, in detail – how much time or money – and exactly what you want to use and spend to attract what you wish for. The 'Power of Three' critical components are;

  • Open Mindset

  • Clear mission and;

  • Holistic sustainable moves

These will get you going on your journey to successfully living your life by design.

2. Create a personal brand

I recommend creating a personal brand to grow into. This allows you to specifically visualize and design the person you want to become and the life you want to lead. Start with defining your core values. They are going to become the foundation for you to align all your decisions to moving forward. Then I want you to look at the people you admire and cherry-pick the qualities you admire most that you would like to embody. After you have this new persona solidified, I want you to look at where you are now and start to create an action plan to achieve the "brand new you" that you have designed. Keep checking in with yourself and adjust your action plan as you go. You've got this!

3. Set S.M.A.R.T. Goals!

Achieve your goals, and shape the life you want by setting S.M.A.R.T. goals. Remember that a goal without a plan is just a wish! Your goals should be specific, measurable, attainable, realistic, and time-bound. Know exactly what your specific goal is and how to measure it (i.e., numbers or methods). Ensure that your goal is realistically attainable with a specific end date. Once you execute the powerful and helpful S.M.A.R.T. goal system you should see your goals become a reality.

4. Do the thing that aligns with your core values

We should often ask ourselves if our goals are in alignment with our core values. Whether or not the value we are clinging to is supportive of growth doesn't matter. If the experience we are engaged in is not in alignment with our values, then we will resist on a subconscious level in some manner. The critical thing to remember is that some of our values will need to change as we evolve. Doing the things that align with those values is essential to shaping the life we want and creating long-term success.

5. Make your goals more manageable

Break larger goals down into baby steps so that each step appears more manageable. Identify three mini-steps that will take you towards the achievement of your long-term goal and then tackle each mini-step individually. If the mini-steps still seem challenging then break each one of those down into another three mini-steps. Keep chunking down until each step is so infinitesimally small that you can't fail to accomplish it. This technique will rapidly build momentum as you tick off your baby steps and start to move towards the fulfillment of your ultimate goal.
