November 1, 2025 – Let's Ask About the Moon is the newest addition to a collection of poetic storybooks by author and acupuncturist Nicole Allegretti, LAc., which explores aspects of childhood wonder and friendship.
Let's Ask About the Moon chronicles a hedgehog, a beaver, and a butterfly as they embark on a journey of friendship and discovery to talk to the Moon. After climbing a mountain and with the help of a new friend, they reach their destination and ask the Moon their question.

This charming bedtime story offers simple wisdom about the passage of time and friendship, reminding readers that everything has a special purpose while inspiring their imagination and curiosity.
"My hope is that readers will feel a sense of joy and delight when reading this book in the moments before bedtime," Allegretti said.
While Let's Ask About the Moon and other titles are written primarily for a younger audience, some of Allegretti’s other poetic works, notably the Collection of Emotionful Stories, can be enjoyed by adults and children alike. Some of her other published titles include The Little Bird Who Learned Her Faith and Carl the Squirrel and His Overwhelmedness.
Nicole Allegretti studied Playwriting and Theatre Studies at Marymount Manhattan College in New York, where she received a Bachelor of Arts degree. She also holds a Master's Degree in Acupuncture, is a certified herbalist, and has multiple professional certifications in Oriental Medicine, as well as other areas of alternative medicine.
In addition to writing literary and poetic works, Nicole practices acupuncture and herbal medicine at Positive Life Acupuncture, PLLC, in Warwick, NY. She teaches yoga and offers sound meditations at Vastu Health Center, where she is grateful to share space with beautiful people with whom she feels a deep connection on her soul's journey.
