Educators' careers are complete with professional development. Professional development for teachers is used to reflect on and improve their teaching practices. It is also to build new skills, develop effective classroom strategies, and stay on top of the latest developments.

Teachers need professional development to expand their knowledge. The good news is that there are many training and learning options available.

Among the people who contributed to the innovation of the English teachers community with over 8,400 members in Vietnam, Trang Phan is among the top 10 most influential entrepreneurs of 2023 (the Education View US award). She has collaborated with ClassIn Vietnam ‒ the top 50 best online teaching platforms in the world ‒ to implement the Mentoring Program project with the goal of helping teachers access and apply technology in teaching, and especially understand the importance of lifelong learning and constant innovation.

ClassIn Mentoring Program connects Mentors and Mentees to develop teaching careers and 4.0 skills. Already in Season 1, the program has achieved many great successes. Just in season 1, ClassIn and Mentoring Program have built a teaching community with more than 8000 members, resulting in many notable achievements, including:

  • A hybrid Matching Day event successfully connected 10 pairs of mentors and mentees.

  • Mentor Nhung Tran represents Confederation College Canada

  • The British University Ambassador Award BUV was presented to mentor Gin Anh

  • Mentor Tra My accepted the COO position at Southern Ontario Collegiate Office.

Significant contributions have been made by Trang and colleagues, new entrepreneurs, in the project. After season 1, the participants gave the show praise and thanked them for inspiring and motivating them to change for the better. Let's look at the events pictures with teacher faces contributing to this program's success.

Phan Thi Quynh Trang, Executive Contributor Brainz Magazine

Teaching and training ESL has always been my passion, and I am dedicated to contributing to the success of others. I am enthusiastic, creative and caring, proficient in theory and practical application, and always strive to provide quality lectures and provide quality care to my students.

During the Covid 19 pandemic, I realized I needed to adapt quickly to changing circumstances. The only option I had at that time was to either lose everything or to continue on the educational career path that I had chosen. However, I had to continue in a completely different direction. And I realized that Technology has made it possible for educators to connect with audiences and share their expertise in seemingly unlimited ways.

Since I have expertise in teaching, I can apply products to teaching and point out the weaknesses of manufacturers. Through my contribution to educational technology units in the country, I discovered that the educational entrepreneur creates positive value change using economic resources named "studying". A new challenge worth taking on is motivating educators to realize their value, stay current, and broaden their horizons for the sustainable development of the educational technology industry. "We make a living by what we get, but we make a life by what we give."
