I so often hear, read and see advice on social media, that the one thing we need to do, to create the life we want, is to manifest it. Visualise it over and over again, keep imagining it, and it will happen eventually, right? Wrong? If it was that simple, we would all be living our dream lives, already.

So where are we going wrong? As we try to manifest the good things we would like to happen, the negative patterns, thoughts and beliefs in our subconscious mind come along and gobble the good things up.

Essentially we sabotage our own dreams in a totally unconscious way. There are ways to tackle this, but they take some work – after all these negative programs didn’t just pop up overnight. These negative programs, thoughts and beliefs have travelled down our ancestral lineage, were formed in our childhood and have even sometimes come through from past incarnations (of which we have had many, if you are inclined to believe it so…)

So how can we remedy this, and live the life we truly desire? Well, it all comes down to energy.

As Einstein said, “Everything is energy and that's all there is to it. Match the frequency of the reality you want and you cannot help but get that reality.

Here are some helpful tips to get you started:

  1. Get a notebook, and map out as far back as you can detailing your ancestors’ lives, note everything you know about them, and then once you are done, see if you can spot any recurring patterns. For example, is there a pattern of betrayal that continues to repeat through the generations, do you or a sibling, or your children also carry this same pattern?

  2. Next, connect in to your heart, breath through your heart charka, feel the love and gratitude that you have for your body, the good things that you have in your life, and know that you are always supported by source.

  3. Now you’ve identified some of these patterns, visualise letting go of them and freeing yourself, past generations and future generations from repeating these patterns.

  4. Next, identify and write down, what negative things you believed to be true about yourself as a child. These may have been reinforced by your parents, siblings, teachers or peer groups. Ask yourself do you still believe these to be true?

  5. Repeat the same exercise, and visualise releasing these limiting self-beliefs and patterns from your system.

  6. You should feel lighter once these heavy patterns have started to dislodge themselves from your energy field.

  7. It’s now time to replace this negative programming with positive beliefs about yourself. You might not truly believe these at first, but the more you repeat them, and give yourself the love you deserve. They will eventually become part of who you are.

It typically takes on average 66 days to form a habit, so this is something that should become part of your daily routine, if you are really determined to live an extraordinary life. Once the negative programming has been removed (and this is providing that we don’t keep creating negative thought forms alongside the positive), you will then be able to manifest the life that you have always dreamed of.

If you would like to go deeper with this work, and delve into past life programming and belief systems that are holding you back, as well rooting out old ancestral and childhood negative patterns and conditioning that are stopping you from living an extraordinary life. Then you might like to register for my 4 weeks, 3 months, or 12-month regeneration programs, that are guaranteed to change your life forever.
