The quality of your brand determines the opportunities that come. The question is what opportunities do you want to attract? When you build a strong and successful personal brand, you attract bigger opportunities.

Here are 4 essential things every strong and successful personal brand must have:

1. Authenticity

The more you are you, the more powerful you become, the bigger the impact you make. Who are you? Authenticity is aligning who you truly are on the inside with your outward behaviour. It is the most powerful foundation you can lay for your personal brand.

Indeed to achieve the highest level of success in life, you have to cultivate your true self. True power is cultivating your true self, not being someone you are not.

Do not be swayed by insecurities or public opinion, let your brand messages be genuine, honest and transparent. 90% of consumers are looking for authenticity when deciding the brands they will support. Take a stand and make it clear what you stand for.

2. A Brand Personality

You can be as confident as you want but what you don't know or haven't established about yourself as a brand may be stopping you from spreading an extraordinary amount of impact in the world. Your brand personality is a framework that helps you define how you want to be perceived by others including your ideal audience. Your brand personality shapes your brand's energy, it is your tone of voice, the language your brand uses and its visual identity (design). It defines how you communicate your offers and how people feel about your vision, mission, products and services.

According to Forbes, 86% of consumers prefer human interaction to robots and AI (Artificial Intelligence). 71% of consumers are less likely to use a brand that doesn't have a human customer service agent available. Therefore developing your brand personality is a must, not an option. Your ideal audience wants to see the humanity within your brand.

Your brand personality is what will appeal to and resonate with your ideal audience. Although it is a fact that clients are more likely to purchase a brand if its personality is similar to their own, this doesn't mean that you have to become someone you are not to sell, stay authentic.

3. A Powerful Signature Brand Image

Your signature brand image is the cohesive and unique design based on your brand personality that is carried across all your communications.

It helps you:

It helps you:

  • stand out from the crowd

  • become more visible

  • become memorable

  • take off

  • stay consistent

  • build long-lasting relationships with your ideal audience

  • be perceived as high value

  • easily convince your ideal audience that you are the solution

  • become the go-to expert in your field

Packaging matters. When you convey a professional image your brand is 10x more attractive.

4. A Branded Website

You don't need a website to start selling your course, signature programme or profitable digital product. However, if you desire to be seen as influential, a branded website becomes a must.

As well as being a personal brand, you are a digital brand too. Your branded website is the digital representation of your brand on earth, making it the heart of your business. It is the vehicle that provides a destination for your ideal audience and enables you to build credibility, make your intentions clear, drive engagement, provide deeper insight and build your email list. It is the place where you can take your ideal audience to the next level.

97% of consumers search for businesses or services online. Having a branded website means you can be found by those who need your product, service or expertise or referred to those who need you by those who find you. Why a "branded" website? Because you will look strong and different.

Adopted at the age of 10, she was separated from her parents and moved to France, where she was forbidden from telling anyone at school or elsewhere about her real parents. It was a tough reality for a 10-year-old, she started running away from home from the age of 14-15 and becoming involved with gang members in the neighbourhood. What followed next was a chapter filled with sexual abuse, drug and alcohol consumption and domestic abuse.

Despite all the traumatic experiences of her younger years, Patricia didn’t let her past define her, she made the choice to turn her life around and has become the highly successful woman that she is today, reminding us that: “Nobody's broken past has to be their future.”
