Yann Dang

Executive Leadership Coach for Women

Yann Dang knows what it’s like to succeed in rooms that weren’t designed with you in mind.

The daughter of Vietnamese refugees, Yann built a global career in finance across New York, London, and Singapore, often finding herself the youngest person in the room, the only woman, the only person of color, or all three. She rose into executive leadership at a Fortune 500 company, gaining firsthand experience navigating power, perception, belonging, and the unwritten rules of success.

Today, her work explores the private contradictions many accomplished women experience: advocating fiercely for others while hesitating to advocate for themselves, knowing what they want to say then softening or overexplaining it, and making high-stakes decisions professionally while second-guessing what they actually want.

Yann challenges the idea that women need to become harder, louder, less emotional, or more like those who have traditionally held power. She believes anger, frustration, ambition, and desire aren’t leadership liabilities. They’re information.

Her work helps women strengthen self-trust and emotional agility, communicate assertively without losing their authenticity, become more visible, take calculated risks, and hold greater authority without abandoning themselves in the process.

A leadership coach, TEDx speaker, and Forbes contributor, Yann is the creator of COMMAND™, a six-month leadership accelerator for women, and host of The Balanced Leader Podcast, ranked among the top 2% of business podcasts globally.

At the heart of her work is a provocative idea: your power may not be missing. It may already be fully allocated to proving, pleasing, performing, managing perception, and keeping the peace.

What could become possible if you started using more of that power for what you actually want?
