Wala Kasmi is a multi-awarded entrepreneur, computer science engineer, and global leader recognized for her pioneering work in reimagining education for the future of work. She is the founder and CEO of ClassX, a global platform that transforms underused spaces into hubs for in-person learning, connecting instructors, learners, and venues to create vibrant communities of skill-building and collaboration.
Over the past decade, Wala has led large-scale youth upskilling programs across Africa and the Middle East, empowering more than 18,000 learners and partnering with organizations such as Google, UN Migration, and the International Labour Organization. Before founding ClassX, Wala created WeCode, one of the most successful digital inclusion programs in North Africa, and helped put Tunisia on Google Street View through a national youth initiative. Her work earned her the French President Award for Innovation, and she was named a Global Woman in Tech by the U.S. Secretary of State for Commerce.
Now based in Silicon Valley, Wala continues to bridge innovation, education, and human connection. As a global leader, she is building a cross-border learning movement that makes education more accessible, affordable, and human than ever.
