Vanessa Rose Chykerda

Vanessa Rose Chykerda discovered her passion for hairstyling early on, pursuing cosmetology from Grades 10 through 12 in high school. She went on to complete a one-year program at MC College in Edmonton, Alberta, followed by a two-year apprenticeship that helped her build a strong foundation in the industry.

In 2023, Vanessa began working with Genevieve Bijou–now a close friend–who played a pivotal role in her development, teaching her valuable lessons in business, growth, and leadership. That same drive for learning and leadership led her to begin working with L'Oréal Matrix and Biolage as an educator. In this role, Vanessa has deepened her understanding of hair science and technology, with a focus on how ingredients impact the hair's structure and overall health. She is passionate about delivering education that helps stylists create not only beautiful results, but also positive, memorable experiences for their clients.

Throughout her journey, Vanessa has surrounded herself with inspiring role models and continues to lean on their guidance. With the knowledge and experience she’s gained, she’s committed to helping others succeed–sharing her insight so others can grow, lead, and thrive in their own careers.
