Tessa Sillifant

Founder, Self Trust Reset

Tessa Sillifant is a personal leadership and wellbeing advocate, and the founder of Self Trust Reset, an online platform supporting individuals to rebuild confidence and rediscover who they are after a break-up. Her work focuses on helping people navigate emotional change with clarity, resilience, and a stronger sense of self.
 
With over a decade of experience in tertiary education, Tessa has led initiatives across wellbeing, diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging, creating safer and more supportive environments while advocating for meaningful, systemic change.
 
She holds a Bachelor of Applied Science (Psychology), a Master of Teaching (Primary), and a Diploma in Professional Coaching, bringing together academic insight and practical tools to support lasting personal growth.
 
Tessa has authored a published journal article called “Mind the Gap – A University-wide approach to finding opportunities to support mental health and wellbeing in New Zealand tertiary institutions.” She has also presented at international conferences, advocating for systemic approaches to wellbeing and student success. Alongside her professional work, Tessa is the author of “The Twists and Turns of a Traveller” and has had work featured in publications.
 
Through Self Trust Reset, Tessa combines her professional expertise, empathy, emotional intelligence, and passion for wellbeing to equip individuals with the tools to rebuild self-trust, move forward with confidence, and create a life that feels aligned after significant change.
