Steve Petrie is a performance coach, author, and founder of Petrie Sports Performance Ltd, a high-performance centre in Devon, UK. He has dedicated his career to helping athletes and professionals unlock their potential by integrating strength & conditioning, psychology, and lifestyle optimisation.
With over a decade of hands-on experience, Steve has worked with Olympic and Paralympic athletes, national governing bodies, and youth performers across rugby, fencing, netball, football, and more. His qualifications include a Foundation Degree in Strength & Conditioning and Sports Coaching, a BSc in Sports Rehabilitation with Strength & Conditioning, and a Master’s in Psychology. This unique combination enables him to bridge the gap between physical performance and mental resilience.
At Petrie Sports Performance, Steve leads a multidisciplinary environment that supports athletes of all levels, from aspiring youth competitors to seasoned professionals, with testing, tailored programming, and psychological skills training. His approach rejects quick fixes and focuses instead on long-term, sustainable progress built on solid foundations.
Beyond sport, Steve applies the same principles to leadership, business, and personal growth, showing how lessons from elite performance can help anyone thrive under pressure. His mission is simple: to bring the science of high performance to everyday life so people can achieve “Your Best, Every Day.”
