Shelly O'Connell
Flirting Coach for Women
Shelly O’Connell brings a fresh, empowering lens to flirting, revealing it as a natural expression of confidence, connection, and joy. As a Flirting Coach for Women and the author of Finding Your Flirt, she blends wisdom, humor, and lived experience to help women feel comfortable expressing interest and creating genuine connections without playing games.
Shelly’s work is rooted in both professional training and lived experience. She holds a Bachelor of Behavioral Science, a Master of Divinity, and completed professional training through The Institute for Life Coaching. Her background also includes deep advocacy and leadership roles, including serving as Program Director for a Rape Crisis Center and participating on the Attorney General’s Task Force Against Animal Cruelty. Throughout her career, she has been a dedicated advocate for women, committed to restoring agency, confidence, and self-trust.
Through her coaching, writing, and programs, Shelly empowers women to release limiting patriarchal conditioning and rediscover flirting as a natural, learnable, and enjoyable skill, one that enhances not only dating but life itself. Her mission is to help women reconnect with their joy and radiance through fun, engaging, and transformational experiences.
Shelly lives in Northern California with her husband, Kevin. When she’s not coaching or writing, she enjoys painting, dancing, being in natur,e and of course, flirting.
