My story begins long before I ever picked up a camera, recorded a beat, led a habitat restoration project, or stood on stage performing my music. At my core, I have always been someone who pays close attention, to people, to nature, to rhythm, and to the ways communities rise, fall, and rise again. Growing up in Sacramento, I learned early that the world was full of unexpected intersections: art and science, community activism and personal storytelling, academic life and digital influence. But it wasn’t until much later that I realized these intersections weren’t obstacles, they were pathways. They formed the foundation of who I was becoming.

And so, this is the story of how I became Ray White: a biologist-in-training, a musician known as Fredsworld, an influencer building a platform rooted in creativity and community, and a young leader committed to helping others, whether they are students, artists, families, or the ecosystems that support us all.
