Oksana Chabot
Founder, Executive Director
Oksana Chabot, MA, LMFT-A, ADC-IP, is a trauma-informed family therapist and addiction counselor known for challenging conventional mental health models that often overlook the environments in which healing takes place. Her work centers on a simple but often ignored truth: people cannot heal in systems that keep them dysregulated, disconnected, or unsafe.
She is the founder of Katherine’s Healing Nest™, an emerging eco-therapy village designed to offer nature-based, community-centered healing for individuals, families, and underserved populations. Through this model, Oksana is pioneering a more human approach to care—one that integrates nervous system regulation, somatic practices, and relational healing with the physical environments needed for lasting transformation.
In addition to her clinical work, Oksana is the creator of Healthy Heroes™, a children’s emotional wellness brand focused on building resilience, emotional intelligence, and self-awareness from an early age. Her work extends beyond therapy into education, prevention, and system-level change.
As a writer and emerging thought leader, Oksana speaks openly about the gaps in modern mental health care while offering grounded, solution-focused alternatives. Her mission is not to dismantle the system, but to help it evolve—by creating spaces where people feel safe enough to truly heal.
